This is our second visit, The accommodation was good value for money, clean and comfortable. There was adequate space to walk the dog, with woods nearby too. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good, with a wide selection of hot and cold food. We had a very pleasant stay.
Room was a little tired and probably needs refurbishment. We were situated near the stairs and at the beginning of the corridor, which was slightly awkward as there was a continuous movement of people especially early morning and late at night. The dog was aware of everyone walking past and I was concerned she would disturb other residents. Next time I will ask to have a room at the end of a corridor away from the entrance.
“My tip: If you have a dog with you , ask the hotel to consider which room they allocate you. ”

Great assistance in case of need. Comfortable beds, great breakfast. Tea and coffee machine in the room. The night receptionist was great and huge fun.
The rooms are not warm, I m not saying cold but at limit. I slept in my pullover. Hairdryer didn t work so wet hair in a cool room is definitely a problem but the Gentleman at the reception did help out.
“My tip: If the temperature in the rooms could be warmer or regulated that would be great. If the hairdryer worked that would be also important.”

Very warm and pleasant reception. We had endured a very difficult day of driving from France in heavy traffic and terrible weather so it was nice to be welcomed in such a friendly way.
Some noise from the nearby motorway which might disturb light sleepers but was OK for us. The room was not very warm when we arrived around 19h00 so I turned the radiator thermostat to max. It was warmer later in the evening but not quite as warm as I hoped.
“My tip: Food quality in the restaurant is good. Maybe the bar should stock some slimline tonic for gin drinkers Really excellent appelgebak. Thank you ”

Inexpensive room which included breakfast. Friendly staff. Lovely food.
Very noisy at all times. The room doors must have a spring which means they bang very loudly when closed. Other guests talking very loud at night and early hours. Gymnasium advertised which was why I chose this hotel but on arrival no gymnasium even tho it said in the hotel information booklet that it was on the first floor. Can hear traffic from outside.
“My tip: Ask for a room as far away from reception as possible as all the smokers congregate outside main door and can be very very loud indeed. You have to try the mustard soup stunning. ”

Nice staff
You should advise your customers that the key card shouldn t be kept next to the cellphone. Taxis we used wouldn t use a counter by kilometer and made us pay once 35 and once 40 to the GelreDome and back.

Our main aim was to find a bed to sleep on within a good distance of Arnhem central station and that we got so I can t fault that
Not a very warm welcoming and I expected a bit more information regarding what time breakfast would be and where to go etc.
“My tip: Bus stop a few minutes walk away which is a short journey to Arnhem central station ”

Inexpensive, we stayed 2 nights on a double room and only cost EUR 100 with breakfast included. Unlike another budget hotel that we have stayed previously, this hotel has a garden and a restaurant.
There is no shops nearby the hotel.
“My tip: It might be difficult to get to the hotel with public transport. We are not sure of this because we ride our bicycle to there.”

A stone's throw from the A12 motorway but the surrounding woodland made for a peaceful stay. Excellent dinner menu, with the food being prepared and served with care. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff seemed to be everywhere and nothing was too much trouble.
First-timers may be unaware that the Postillion is a popular meeting point for business visitors so gets busy during weekdays but don't let that put you off.
“My tip: The Netherlands Open Air Museum and the Burgers' Zoo are side by side, barely 1km away from the hotel and from the Zoo it's possible to travel into the centre of Arnhem by the country's only trolleybus network. Very cheap too, with a return ticket being €3 (as of 2013).”

Pleasant location, close (but not too close) to the centre of one of the most bicycle friendly cities in Europe. Attractive public areas and nicely decorated, comfortable room. Helpful and charming staff. Interesting menu in restaurant.
No hair dryer or air conditioning in room.
“My tip: Use a bike (hire from the hotel if you haven't brought your own) to explore the town - 20 mins away on safe and well signposted cycle paths.”

Very clean. Friendly staff who were very helpful. Great breakfast. Bus to Arnhem centre only a short walk away for a reasonable price of 2 euros each way.
No coffee maker in rooms. A bit way out if you don't have a car, you would have to travel into Arnhem to take public transport to visit almost anywhere in Holland.
