Hotel Lamerichs is situated opposite the Geulhemmer caves in the Limburg town of Berg en Terblijt. The river Geul runs straight through these woody surroundings. A 10-minute drive will take you to historic Maastricht and the spa and casino town of Valkenburg. The hotel offers cosy and well furnished rooms, a restaurant with a daily menu incorporating regional produce, and an attractive bar with a spacious terrace providing a lovely woodland view. It forms an ideal starting point for cycling trips and traversing wonderful walking routes. A nice and afforable hotel close to Maastricht and Valkenburg. The hotel offer various room types, from Single to Family Rooms. Food and Drink
The restaurant features a daily and deluxe breakfast buffet; on weekdays from 08:30 until 10:30, and at weekends from 08:30 until 11:00. An earlier breakfast is possible on request. Room service breakfast is available at a small additional charge.The restaurant and bar with a spacious terrace form a meeting place for guests, locals and the Lamerichs family themselves. A lovely spot for a cup of coffee with a slice of regional Limburg pie or a specialty beer whilst enjoying the woodland views. The chef makes use of regional produce to create a variety of dishes. The restaurant is open from 12:00 until 20:00 (dinner on request), the bar is open from 12:00 until 20:00, and at weekends from 12:00 until 22:00.

There is another restaurant just 2 minutes walk away.
Expensive given the facilities and environment, although probably because it was weekend. The room is hot as our room are located on the top floor and it was July at that time. It is difficult to sleep at night.
“My tip: If you are going to visit Maastricht or Valkenburg at weekend and would like a budget hotel, be sure to book a hotel earlier. We actually book the hotel a month ago and at that time this is already the cheapest hotel that we can book. However it is the most expensive hotel which we have stayed in Netherlands in our 21 days trip ”

Very close to the village of Berg, a really nice town in the middle of the nature :) 10 minutes distance to Maastricht by car.
They didn't have an hair dryer ...

Good Breakfast, Clean and very nice rural place to stay,. You need a car to travel to this hotel as nearest transport is 1 Km and there are no Taxi's locally that will make the run.

excelllent break fast and staff cooperations were very nice. Maastricht city is near by the hotel.
location is bit far from houthem railway station ( looks remote area), it would be difficult unless you have any vechile to reach any near by place.

We had to leave early (one hour before breakfast), and especially for us the start of breakfast was changed. Breakfast was very good!
The images on the website showing the hotel rooms didn't reflect either of the 3 rooms we had. The bed can be described as 'cosy'.

Lovely location. Friendly staff. Tasty breakfast! A short (and pretty) drive from Valkenburg. Access to lots of different TV channels.
On weekdays, the front desk is undermanned. Room was much smaller than expected (granted, we had a budget room). Breakfast time ends on the early side, for those who like to sleep in.
