Hotel de Waag has eight rooms, each with its own theme. All rooms are nicely decorated and offer tea and coffee making facilities and a television. Two rooms have a bath and there are a number of rooms with a private balcony, which is a wonderful feature during the summer period.

If you love shopping, Bergen is a lovely place to visit. This historical village has a pleasant shopping centre with great boutiques and numerous bars and restaurants where you can enjoy a snack or a drink. The artists' village of Bergen offers a rich art culture, and there are several galleries and museums.

The woods are around the corner, at only 100 metres from Hotel de Waag. In seaside fishing village Bergen aan Zee, you can visit the sea aquarium, or have a great day on the beach. Bergen aan Zee is situated in a wooded area where you can walk and cycle to your heart's content. You can rent a bicycle in the hotel at a charge.
