Breskens is a bustling seaside resort with a long history. Hotel Rooms is located right in the centre and a 5 minute walk away from a beautiful sandy beach. Since Breskens is mainly known as a fishing village, the fishing port is definitely worth a visit. The maritime theme can be found in several places in the centre. Enjoy fresh fish dishes at the many restaurants and cafes or pay a visit to the Fishing Museum.
The Fishing Museum is a wonderful place to learn more about the history of fishing. You can take a tour on a real fishing ship or go on a sea fishing cruise. From the dunes you can admire seals on Hooge Plaet and there are plenty of places for children to have fun.
Food and Drink
Hotel Rooms has its own restaurant, La Marmite, where you can enjoy a culinary delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner. During the holidays there is a special menu, which you can check on the hotel's website. Restaurant La Marmite is only closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The restaurant is open from 17:30 on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and from 12:30 on Sunday.
Restaurant La Marmite is very cozy and has a beautifully-situated terrace where you can enjoy a snack and a drink on a hot summer day. Fresh produce is served every day and the dishes are seasonal. In the centre of Breskens you will also find several restaurants where you can enjoy a delicious meal.
