Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant de Cooghen has a central location in the seaside resort De Koog, with plenty of bars, restaurants and clubs. As such, many outdoor cafés and other nightlife venues are nearby. A short walk will take you straight to the dunes or the island´s tranquil nature areas. The main attraction of the West Frisian Islands is of course complete relaxation in a peaceful environment. Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant de Cooghen has a Wellness Centre with a sauna, steam cabin, and an infrared cabin with colour therapy, which guests can use at an additional charge. You can make a reservation for these facilities at the friendly hotel reception. The hotel's restaurant is an excellent place for a delicious lunch or dinner. Reception will be happy to inform you about activities and trips or assist you in making reservations. Guests can make use of wireless Internet. A breakfast buffet is served in the restaurant every morning. All rooms are stylishly decorated and feature an en-suite bathroom with a shower and toilet. Surroundings
As the largest of the West Frisian Islands, Texel has a diverse landscape and charming villages. Apart from the mudflats and the beach, Texel also has dunes, meadows, heaths, woods, and salt marshes. Around the town of Den Hoorn in the south, you can discover large bulb fields which bloom magnificently in springtime. The heart of the island is the Hoge Berg, a boulder clay hill between the villages of Oudeschild and Den Burg. It is the island's highest point, and despite being just 15 metres high, you can look across the entire island from this peak.

An extensive breakfast buffet is available in the restaurant every morning from 08:00 until 10:30. Fresh rolls, a selection of cheeses and a wide choice of sandwich fillings will set you up for the day. The Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant de Cooghen restaurant has a warm ambiance providing that authentic Texel holiday feel. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the sunny outdoor terrace during the day, and the restaurant offers an extensive menu in the evening. You can choose between traditional Texel dishes and more internationally inspired meat or fish dishes. Or simply take a seat on the patio or outdoor terrace and relax.

I went with my partner. The room was rather small but just perfect for the two of us. In just a view minutes you reach the beach. In a view seconds you reach plenty of good restaurants, baars and shops. We ate at Jans, which was outstanding. The breakfast was good, with really good scrambled eggs ) All in all its a good choice

Good breakfast. OK view; a combination of houses and dunes, our room at the back on 3. floor.
Staff (reception) seemed a bit uninterested once one had checked in. This might be due to the fact that we stayed there at the end of the season.
