Hotel
The ferry journey to Texel alone will give you that special holiday feeling. Breathe in the salty sea air and let the seagulls welcome you to the island. The hospitable Grand Hotel Opduin is situated in De Duinen national park in Texel, just 200 metres from the North Sea beach. Both the hotel and the surroundings offer plenty of opportunities for an active or a relaxing stay. Guests can enjoy free use of the swimming pool. What's more, the Finnish sauna, Turkish steam bath and gym are also available to enjoy at a small surcharge. Bikes are available to hire at reception. The Beauty & Wellness Centre offers wonderful massages and beauty treatments. The hotel rooms come with a bath, shower, toilet, hairdryer, telephone, mini-bar, safe and a seating area. You can enjoy wonderful food in Restaurant Opduin, indoors or on the sun terrace. There is also a children's play area.
Surroundings
Texel enjoys the most sunshine in the Netherlands and is therefore perfect for outdoor activities. Golf, cycling, swimming and walking are all fun activities while staying in Hotel Opduin. De Koog offers numerous shops and terraces and located just outside of the village is Ecomare; a nature museum, aquarium & sanctuary for seals & birds.
Food and Drink
A breakfast buffet is available in the morning, offering authentic produce from Texel. Breakfast is available from Monday to Saturday between 08:00 and 10:30, and on Sunday between 08:00 and 11:30. In Restaurant Opduin you can enjoy delicious dishes prepared by Aart Wijker and his kitchen team. Most produce is of course sourced from local farmers and fishermen. The menu also features world-renowned Texel lamb.

Excellent service and quality, top location. We wer very happy, and we will repeat for sure.
No major minus point. Only two silly things: the elevator was slow and the expresso machine was not working correctly all the time.

Excellent hôtel dont l\'aspect extérieur ne reflète pas l\'excellent confort et modernité de l\'intérieur. Idéal lorsque l\'on a des enfants. Service poli et attentionné.
