the bed, the location, Delft, nearby restaurants, the train service from Schiphol

Other than the bed the room wasn t comfortable, especially for the price. The bells and noise from the square below. The room wasn t maintained well, the sun shower (as they boasted in the notes) didn t work, the window didn t close properly, they didn t offer a checkout extension on a Sunday. The bathroom door didn t close (not a nice feature). Many petty things but they add up.

Excellent value hotel

We stayed here a year ago, and on our 2nd trip to Delft we came back because it's conveniently located, reasonably priced and the service is good. Our room (one of their cheaper ones) was quite basic but the bed was comfortable, it has a nice view over gardens, and it is very quiet at night. Excellent value. Good breakfasts too. Would definitely return.

no possibility to prepare a coup of tea or coffie. (for example Early morning tea before the restaurant oppens or afternoon tea in the room after a long city wandering day. The fridge on the 2nd floor should only be opened with a code, our beer kept there has been stolen...

Lots of character and close to the centre

A small hotel full of individual character and only a few steps away from the main square. Friendly staff and a pleasant reception area with huge windows which doubles as a coffee bar and breakfast room and is a good place to sit and read your guidebook. Excellent fish restaurant just yards away.

My room didn't have a lot of wardrobe space if you were staying for any length of time which I wasn't: perhaps I have too many clothes...

As a frequent traveller, I can say that this hotel deserves more than the 3 starts it has. Great service. Very wide rooms. The bad was wonderful (who would think you'll get a electronically adjusted bed?!). Very good central location.

The breakfast could be better. Cold eggs and very limited selection of non-cheese options. But that's just me... For the Dutch people, that's what they expect

Very friendly staff and a nice comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.

Sub standard toilet/shower facilities. The rooms are of sufficient size that the toilet and shower could be separated and improved.

A hook for more comfort

Very nice help concerning my late arrival!

It sounds a bit crazy but I missed a hook for my jacket in the room and a hook for the small towl in the bathroom... Both would be easy to install.

Nice hotel and room, but not so cheap

The hotel was nice and very well located, close to the very centre of Delft. The decoration was original and also nice.

The bathroom in the standard room was too small and not comfortable. The sink was in the bedroom. Although I liked the room itself very much, I found that the bathroom didn\'t suit the room price, which is not low.

Good all-rounder

The room was clean bright and comfortable,and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The location was excellent, everywhere within easy walking distance, and I would definitely recommend it.

Although we didnt book breakfast, it was expensive at 15 euros each.

Ideal quiet central hotel - to attend a family wedding in Delft

This hotel is wonderfully placed in a quiet square. Access to the centre of Delft and its lovely canals is instant. This old building has been adapted well for the 21st century and the staff were efficient, effective and engaging.

The opening mechanism of one of the windows in the room did not work and this is inconvenient in hot weather. The shower should be provided with a floor towel.

location and breakfast-room are great. I had to change bookings several times, all went very well.

I had ordered a 3 person room, upon arrival the 3rd bed was not available. I complained at the reception who promised to put the 3rd bed into the room. When we came back during night the 3rd bed was not put into the room... I complained the following morning again...no apologies, nothing... I asked for a credit. Unfortunately the only person who can arrange the credit was on vacation. I have been told that it may take approx 2 weeks until the money would be on my account again.
