The stylish coach house in which Hotel Ernst Sillem Hoeve is established, lies in the beautiful woods of the Lage Vuursche. These 'royal' and peaceful surroundings will certainly appeal to walking and cycling enthusiasts. Bike hire and several walking routes are available at reception. A 15-minute drive will take you to Utrecht; a lovely city with a wide variety of shops, museums and cosy restaurants along the canals. The television studios of Hilversum and the charming villages of Blaricum and Laren are also easy to reach.
The comfortable rooms are situated in the wings by the coach house. Facilities such as a bathroom with a shower, a work space, a telephone, a television and free wireless Internet ensure a pleasant stay. Most rooms offer a view of the surrounding park and woods. Furthermore, the hotel has a swimming pool, an infrared sauna, and a gym, which guests can make free use of. There is also a pétanque lawn and an outdoor ping pong table. The equipment is available at reception, against a deposit. To facilitate business meetings in peaceful surroundings, the hotel offers several meeting rooms and suites with all the necessary equipment.

Hotel Ernst Sillem Hoeve is centrally situated in the Netherlands, approximately 15 kilometres from Utrecht. The woody surroundings of the Utrecht Hill Ridge boast picturesque villages, castles, estates and a rich variety of flora and fauna. The woods of the Lage Vuursche are perfect for walking and cycling, and where a number of Nordic Walking routes have been mapped out.
Food and Drink
An extensive breakfast buffet is available on weekdays from 07:00 until 10:00, and at weekends from 08:00 until 10:30.While the chefs are preparing dishes in the à la carte restaurant De Palfrenier, guests are able to enjoy a view of the surrounding park (reservations are recommended). Aperitifs are served in Bar de Ruif by the fireplace. On sunny days, it's possible to enjoy lunch or dinner on one of the terraces in the garden. Room service is available 24 hours a day. In connection with parties sometimes booked at weekends, it may occur that you are unable to make use of De Ruif bar with its fireplace. However, you can still visit the hotel's other bar, De Palfrenier.On Sunday, guests are either able to order dishes from the select menu or enjoy a 3-course daily special in the restaurant or in Bar de Ruif.

I had a very enjoyable stay. Staff is very friendly, easy going and helpful. The room was small (I knew that when I booked) but perfectly adequate. Good comfortable bed. I had dinner in the restaurant. Decent selection of food. Food was simple, but the quality was very good, with a good wine selection.

The location is excellent. Beautifull scenery around the hotel, which is situated in a big private park. Good restaurant and spacious corridors.
It was a hot night and it was a pity that the cooling via windows is restricted. The more important as the room had no airco.

The hotel has a beautiful park, very nice restaurant, with good service. Very good breakfast.
The curtains of the restaurant could be more beautiful...

Very beautiful and quiet location, and very good service (we needed the room a little before check-in time and asked for it, they did their best and we got the room at time). Perfect room with very comfortable beds.
Two separated beds for a couple, i'd prefer a double rather a twin room.

Superb value. Hotel was very smart and in lovely grounds.My room was comfortable and quiet, the breakfast excellent and the staff attentive and professional. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

very nice people, lovely location
although requested during booking the double bed was not provided therefore the comfort of the bed was not satisfactory.
Reception was informed before the saty but there were no other available rooms with double bed.

It is very nice hotel in a peaceful location.
It may be nice but in my opinion it has it\'s priorities wrong..
I was very dissapointed that the hotel had a number of functions on that meant that restraunt was not available to residents. although they were happy to provide a list of alternatives and also book tables for us. The then added additional expense of taxis or using my own vehicule and not being able to have a drink. On the Sunday when the loungue bar was open, then it was a very restricted menu.
