Hotel

The Hotel des Indes has been a famous landmark in The Hague for over 100 years. A hotel since 1881, it was originally built in 1858 as the residence of Baron Van Brienen, the personal adviser to King William III. Hotel des Indes has an inspiring and subtle character. Personal attention and individual comfort are the hotel's two chief priorities. The luxurious and comfortable hotels have a stylish design with amenities such as a television, safe, telephone and a bathroom with a toilet, shower and a bath. Guests can make use of an Internet connection.

The hotel offers plenty of opportunities for relaxation, with a sauna, swimming pool, and sunbeds. Hotel guests can also make free use of the gym. The hotel has a conference room available to business travellers, (please contact the hotel if you wish to make a reservation for this facility).

Grandeur and tradition are entirely in keeping with Hotel des Indes. As part of the Luxury Collection hotel chain, this hotel in the centre of The Hague represents elegance and class, where you will find yourself surrounded by a timeless, sophisticated charm.

Surroundings

The hotel is located in one of the loveliest areas of The Hague. It is surrounded by luxury shopping streets, museums, theatres and restaurants. Museum Escher in het Paleis is right next door. You can visit the Binnenhof (the Dutch seat of the government) or the Noordeinde palace. The Vredespaleis (also a palace) is an important tourist attraction, as are the Panorama Mesdag Museum and the miniature city of Madurodam. The Hague also enjoys a vibrant nightlife.

Food and Drink

DesInDes, the restaurant, lounge, and bar of Hotel des Indes, offers a menu with a wealth of choices. The French chef will surprise you with an international menu based on French traditions. The restaurant serves a light lunch in the afternoon, and dinner in the evening. DesInDes also offers a wonderful high tea, which is renowned in The Hague and beyond.
