Surroundings
Take the ferry across the river IJssel to Deventer; in the top five of the Netherlands' oldest cities. This place is visibly steeped in history, and churches such as the Lebuïnuskerk and the Sint Nicolaaskerk are well worth seeing. The latter of which is now also doubles up as an exhibition space for modern art. This church is located in the 'Bergkwartier', the city's old and restored centre resting on a gentle slope.
