Surroundings

Dordrecht is a city with a rich history; its historical harbours boast almost 900 listed buildings and 700 municipal monuments! You can climb the Grote Kerk (or 'Church of Our Lady'), the city's most famous attraction. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the city centre, and a 10-minute walk from the station. The surrounding area has plenty to offer as well, with Rotterdam just a 25-minute drive away. De Biesbosch National Park is also nearby. The Hollandse Biesbosch, situated on the island of Dordrecht, is also part of this national park. What's more, you'll find the Biesbosch Centre in the city, from where you can set out on various walks and boat trips, or hire a rowing boat, canoe or electric boat to experience the 'Dutch Jungle'.

The restaurant does not serve lunch or dinner, but you'll find plenty of lovely restaurants in the area. The hotel has its own bar, Double Dutch, where you can unwind after a busy day. Have a chat over a few drinks and review your day in an atmospheric setting. Whisky lovers can indulge in their specialised tastes as this bar offers a wide selection of no less than 75 different whiskies and the bar is open daily from 17:00 to 24:00.
