Hotel Boschzicht is peacefully situated in Echten, a small village in the province of Drenthe. The hotel's direct surroundings are home to the nature area of De Wolden, with its streams, woodlands and heaths. The area offers an abundance of tracks suitable for walking, cycling or horseback riding. The hotel is also the perfect base if you're planning to visit the TT circuit in Assen, Wildlands Adventure Zoo Emmen or Slagharen theme park. These three popular attractions are all within a 30-minute drive of the hotel.
Hotel Boschzicht offers comfortable rooms with an en-suite bathroom with a bath and toilet. The rooms furthermore feature a flatscreen television, WiFi and box-spring beds. You can leave your bike in the hotel's secured bike shed where it's also possible to charge e-bikes. Order a lovely lunch or dinner in the restaurant, or have a cup of coffee with a slice of regional cake.
Surroundings
Just 3 kilometres from Echten you can visit the cosy town centre of Hoogeveen, known for its sizeable water feature running through the main shopping street. In the evening it's fun to catch a theatre show in the Theater de Tamboer or visit the large cinema Theater Luxor. The city of Assen is renowned for its TT circuit and the Drents Museum. Emmen, with its recently opened Wildlands Adventure Park and Slagharen theme park, is also easy to get to from the hotel. These attractions are less than a 30-minute drive away.
Food and Drink
A delicious regional breakfast is served every morning between 07:30 and 10:00. The hotel offers breakfast hampers for guests who wish to have breakfast at an earlier time. The restaurant and café are open between Tuesday and Saturday, from 11:00 onwards. In the months June, July and August, the restaurant opens daily.
