Hotel
Hotel Zuiderduin is a luxurious and hospitable hotel that also welcomes children. Kids will love the inviting, colourful indoor play area! And situated right next to this is a cosy English pub. The hotel has an 8-lane bowling alley, offering spectacular light shows and an illuminated dance floor. The perfect place to enjoy a great night out in a groovy 1970s disco setting!
Guests can relax in the Turkish or Japanese baths or in the hotel's sauna, free of charge. You can book an appointment for one of the many treatments available at the Wellness Centre Zenmoodz. Sporty guests can make use of the gym facilities and the squash court. The hotel has a swimming pool as well as a separate children's pool. Guests can make free use of the heated swimming pool, the whirlpool and the gym.
The modern hotel rooms feature a spacious bathroom with a bath and/or shower and toilet. All rooms are non-smoking and come with twin beds. The rooms also include a telephone, a radio, safe, an LED television and WiFi. The Double Room Land View can booked with a balcony or patio, depending on your preference. There are also rooms with a gallery, which do not have a private patio.

The swimming pool, saunas and Zenmoodz Beauty & Spa will be closed from November 27 from 9:00 PM to December 2, 2022. The swimming pool, Japanese baths and foot bath will be closed from December 3 to 8, 2022. Zenmoodz Beauty & Spa and the saunas are then open again between 10:00-20:00.**
Surroundings
Hotel Zuiderduin is only 100 metres from the beach and offers you a sea of possibilities. Enjoy the beautiful nature-abundant scenery of Egmond aan Zee and its surroundings. Located on the edge of the North Holland Dune Reserve, miles of walking and cycling fun are guaranteed. This picturesque fishing village offers nightlife venues, lots of cosy outdoor cafés and nice shops. Another charming place is the nearby artists' village of Bergen, where you can see various exhibitions and visit The Auto Union Museum and the Sea Aquarium in Bergen aan Zee. Also well worth visiting is the 'cheese city' of Alkmaar, only 10 kilometres away.
Food and Drink
An extensive breakfast buffet is available on weekdays from 07:00 until 10:30, and at weekends from 07:30 until 11:00. A varied dinner buffet is also served in the atmospheric restaurant. The hotel furthermore offers several places to enjoy lunch, a drink and a bite to eat: Brasserie Bissou, the cosy Pub with its large collection of enamelled advertisements and the Lucky Strike Bowling, which is also great for dancing.

The facilities in the hotel were great with a nice pool with jacuzzi, bowling and bar. The room was big with a nice view and location great
When we entered the reception of the pool, the lady said there was a one person one towel per day policy. I would not use a towel that I used in a sauna and swimming area after showering, but I would want an extra towel. We didn' t know we had to use the towel in our room (or pay almost 3 euros per towel), so I had to get them. My boyfriend had to change, but wasn't allowed in the pool area because then the lady at the counter needed my roomkey and I was not able to enter the room so he had to wait. Not sure what he could have done when entering the pool before me..

Pretty closed to the beaches, in the centre of Egmond aan Zee,

breakfast feels like agitation, not to high food quality, small buffet assortment, overloaded breakfast room, long distances inside the hotel (make sure you won't get lost inside the areal) only one small and slow elevator, just for pleople who likes uge unpersonally hotels

Dinner buffet very good.
Room was a little outdated,
bed matras was very bad too soft for my back.

Big rooms, good location (walking distance beach). Good parking facilities.
A bit anonymous (many big groups, conferences). Internet/TV system obsolete. Difficult to reach by public transport.

Near beach and village.
Good parking possibilities.
