The Veluwe National Park is the largest interconnected nature area in the Netherlands. It is renowned for its beautiful woods, heaths and sand drifts. Guests can explore the surroundings by bike; available for hire at the hotel. Several stunning cycling routes are also available at reception, and it's possible to store and recharge electric bikes on the premises.
Just north of Apeldoorn, at the top of the Veluwe, lies the small village of Epe; bordering beautiful woods and home to the Hagedoorns Plaatse farm museum. Fletcher Hotel Restaurant Epe-Zwolle lies on the edge of the woods and forms an excellent gateway to the largest nature area in the Netherlands. A 30-minute drive will take you to the splendid Zwaluwhoeve spa resort where you can enjoy an array of sauna and beauty treatments.
The hotel rooms come with a television, a telephone, a bathroom with a shower and a toilet, a hair dryer, and wireless internet. If you have booked a Family Room, there are 2 options: either 4 single beds or 1 double bed (140 x 200 cm) in combination with 1 or 2 single beds. You can indicate your preference. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool (free of charge), a sauna, sunbeds, a Turkish steam bath, a tennis court, and several bowling lanes (at an additional charge). Furthermore, the hotel is very suitable for meetings and events for groups of up to 200 guests.
Surroundings
Epe is conveniently situated between Zwolle and Apeldoorn. Fletcher Hotel Restaurant Epe-Zwolle lies on the edge of the woods heralding The Veluwe National Park. The Netherlands' largest interconnected national area is blessed with woods and shelters a treasure trove of cultural delights. In the Hoge Veluwe area you can discover the Kröller-Müller Museum, the Jachthuis St. Hubertus (a former hunting lodge) and Museonder (a subterranean museum). Nearby cities include Zwolle, Apeldoorn and Deventer. In Apeldoorn you'll find places of interest such as Het Loo Palace, the Apenheul (Monkey Zoo), and the Julianatoren theme park.
Food and Drink
An elaborate breakfast buffet is available on Monday to Friday from 07:00 until 10:00, and on Saturday and Sunday from 07:30 until 10:30. You can enjoy a delicious lunch and dinner in the restaurant, which is open from 11:00. The kitchen is open until 21:00. Advance reservation is recommended. Guests can furthermore round off their day in style at the bar or make use of the hotel's bowling facilities.

Children/extra beds: A cot can be provided at a surcharge of €12.50 per night. An extra bed for a child aged 4 - 11 years old costs €27.50 per night, breakfast included. An extra bed for guests aged 12 and above costs €37.50 per night, breakfast included.

At check in at 2000 my room was not ready, the bathroom of the replacement room was smelling of piss, even after cleaning by the room service next day. In the room the carpets have stains.

We had a great experience from the time we arrived the Bar manager was so kind and very nice to our two children age 3 and 6. The Chef on duty made us some sandwiches and fries even though the kitchen was closed. we were so appreciate of the friendly staff we met everyone, at the reception, the dining room, the bar and the staff who came with a cot for our son. We will definitely return and will recommend it to friends.
The facilities closed early which was a pity, also a family size room would be great.

The menu in the resturant is average and there needs to be more to select from. Also the breakfast needs a little boost, so there is more to select from. For example greater variation of cheese and meat.

Very good service from the staff, very friendly, and wonderful atmosphere. Lots of offers for sports and recreation. Very nice to receive a postcard from them a week after getting back home again.
We will probably go there again!
