Surroundings

Erlangen is a city well worth visiting every day of the year. It is one of Germany's best preserved planned baroque cities boasting splendid gardens, charming terraces, atmospheric bars, interesting museums and lovely shops. Walk through Erlangen's beautiful castle gardens and the adjoining Botanical Garden, a green oasis in the centre of the city. A variety of castle garden concerts are held during the summer months, with bands, orchestras and jazz formations playing in this wonderful setting. Two other gardens in the city that are also worth seeing include the Heinrich-Kirchner-Skulpturengarten and the Aromagarten. In town a little longer? Then visit Munich or Nuremberg, both are easy to reach by car and public transport.

Food and Drink

Breakfast is served daily in the Hazienda Restaurant, next to the hotel's reception area. Enjoy an elaborate breakfast with a Nuremberg bratwurst. Breakfast is available on weekdays from 06:00 until 10:00, on Saturday from 06:00 until 11:00, and on Sunday from 07:00 until 12:00. Take a seat in the El Toro bar and restaurant for a refreshing drink, a tasty lunch or an extensive dinner. The menu features international and regional specialities.
