Surroundings

The estate near Hotel Hof van ´s Gravenmoer displays a permanent exhibition about the lives of Brabant farmers from olden days. The hotel lies close to a stunning nature area, and when out walking or cycling you'll be sure to come across lovely examples of what's known in Dutch as Slagenlandschap: the characteristic system of ditch-based subdivision and parcelisation. This undulating landscape was formed by the manner in which turf was extracted during the last century. The Loonse and Drunense Dunes are also unusual nature areas. If you fancy a day of shopping you can head to various nice cities in the area, such as Tilburg, Waalwijk and Oosterhout or even the village of Dongen. Lovers of history and culture will appreciate a visit to the fortress city of Geertruidenberg. You can encounter lions on safari in the Beekse Bergen. The fairy tale theme park de Efteling is only 10 km away from the hotel, and offers entertainment to both young and old.

You can enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet at the atmospheric de Gelagkamer from Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 10:00 h, and at weekends from 08:00 to 11:00 h. The bar is open daily until 23:00 h.The hotel does have a restaurant.
