Breakfast room is the actual bar restaurant on the ground floor, good quality and good service.

Window opened directly on a slopy roof, no air coming in.

Brilliant place to stay

The location can t be any better. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable and the rooms are kept very warm for you. The showers are very good. The staff (who also work in the cafe) are very friendly.

Great city centre hotel at a great price

I arrived late but the hotel was able to leave access to my room key for me, instructions eMailed and sms and were clear and to the point and easy to follow and in English.They did exactly what they say they do,Bed with breakfast in the morning (which is in the cafe below).

Bar closed a little early but the main tourist season has finished. But the City does have plenty of other bars a short walk away and I found a few

There is no possibility to drive close to the hotel. Long distance to car parking.

In the most beautiful part of Haarlem. Right in the centre surrounded by all the old buildings, lovely setting. Just far enough down the main square to be quiet enough to get a good nights sleep.

Small rooms, adequate but needs to improve Internet reception.

Great location. Reasonably priced.

Staff wasn't very friendly. Internet was a hard to get because of the 3 day password; then we had to get a new one. Many times Internet did not work on the top floor.

Okay for a last minute cheap booking

Friendly staff and a great view from the breakfast-room at the market square.

When you arrive late everything doesn't look so good. A cat gathered her breakfast from the guests.

Tired decor, noisy lift, good location

Good location

Tired decor - hotel in need of major refurbishment if it is to continue to charge the rate we paid. The room allocated was next to a lift - the noise from which was TOTALLY unacceptable.

Good hotel for busy tourists

Its in the center, really easy to find and not a long way from the station. Nice and helpful staff. Cleaning everyday. A good place to stay if you only need it as a place to sleep.

Excellent value for the money. Friendly staff, very good location. 10 min. walk to the train station. Would definitely stay there again.

oops wrong hotel for the price

in 6days the broken toilet seat no fixed; the flat roof outside the window was a festering pool and breading ground for all the insects that bit me.

Friendly hotel, perfectly located in the center of Haarlem.

Centrally located in downtown Haarlem. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Waterkettle in the room. Would definately stay there again.

Rooms are small, but doesn't matter, if you are out and about all day anyway.

central locaion in Haarlem; 10 to 15 minutes from train station, friendly & accomodating staff, chep overseas phone calls and internet

huge flight of stairs to get to small lobby; only one light by bed; one light burned out in floorlamp; towels thin & flimsy, sheer curtains very dusty - noticeable when window was open.

clean at a reasonable price

The staff were very friendly and helpfull as when we checked out they stored are luggage for a time with no extra charge.

A very nice quaint hotel in the middle of Haarlem. Personnel is extremely friendly and cooperative. We would surely come back.

Somewhat noisy during the night for those of us who had rooms facing the Market.

Entry into the hotel requires a climb up fairly steep stairs, so those who have difficulty climbing stairs should not book here.
