Hamburg is Germany's second largest city, after Berlin, and is home to 1.7 million residents. The city boasts a rich history. Its centuries-old mercantile past is still visible in Speicherstadt, an area with 19th century warehouses on a series of islands on the Elbe's riverbed. Hafencity is a unique mix of old harbour warehouses and modern architecture, with the Elbphilharmonie as it's crown and glory. This is available from Monday to Friday from 06:00 until 10:00, on Saturday from 07:00 until 11:00, and on Sunday and public holidays from 07:00 until 12:00. You can visit the hotel's restaurant Tesoro for a light lunch or a delicious dinner. The restaurant offers a fabulous view of the race track. The menu features seasonal dishes inspired by German and Spanish cuisine prepared with passion by the kitchen. It's lovely to sit on the restaurant's outdoor terrace in summer. The perfect spot to enjoy a delicious meal with a sunset over the race track. For a tasty cup of coffee or a nice drink, you can take a seat in one of the two hotel bars, where a variety of drinks and light meals are served.
