Best Western Hotel Baars is centrally located in The Netherlands, in the beautiful centre of Harderwijk. The rooms of the hotel are tastefully decorated and offer comfortable amenities such as a digital television, a telephone, coffee and tea making facilities, WiFi Internet and a safe. All rooms can be reached by elevator. The hotel is only 2 kilometres away from the A28 motorway and within walking distance there is a free parking area. As such, its location is also perfect for organising a party or business meetings. The meeting rooms can house up to 200 persons.
From the hotel you can walk to the many shops, restaurants, lively bars and the boulevard in just a few minutes. The harbour is the perfect starting point for a boat tour on the surrounding lakes. At approximately 350 metres from the hotel lies the 'Dolfinarium', where dolphins, sea lions, and walrusses put on many great shows. In the amusement park Walibi World (17 kilometres) dizzying rides in roller coasters can be alternated with smashing attractions and shows. In the surroundings you will also find several golf courses and a sauna/beauty resort.

We stayed for a week while we were visiting family in nearby Ermelo. Baars is good value for money, very accessible to all parts of the village, and we enjoyed having a free permit given to us for parking our car. Very quiet location. Delicious buffet breakfasts. The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke English.
No free Wi-Fi.

The people at the reception were very kind and helpful. Real professionals! The restaurant was good and the location of the hotel was convenient. Free and safe parking.

They couldn't find a US power adapter at the front desk.

Nice and well choosen interior with the newest digital technology. The watercoocker was a nice supprise.

Vriendelijke bediening in restaurant. Goed eten.
Milieubewust: de lichten op de gang werken op sensoren. Prettige schone badkamer.
Parkeerplaatsen in parkeergarage van het hotel zijn wat aan de krappe kant.

The reception staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
A steak was ordered well done, but was very pink inside. When asked to be cooked for longer, there was no apology or free drink for inconvenience.
