Heidelberg has a beautiful old and romantic town centre, teeming with restaurants, shops and nightlife venues. There is plenty of choice for shopping enthusiasts; the Hauptstrasse, is one of the longest pedestrianized zones in Europe and packed with popular high street chains, nice design shops and much more! It's easy to explore the city by bike or on foot. The hotel itself is also easy to access; buses and trams stop nearby and the station is less than a 10-minute walk away. One of the city's most impressive attractions is Heidelberg Castle, an old castle with beautiful gardens where you can enjoy a splendid view of the city and the river Neckar.

Food and Drink

An extensive breakfast buffet is served every morning, from Monday to Friday from 06:00 until 10:00, at weekends from 06:00 until 11:00, and on public holidays from 06:00 until 12:00. For lunch and dinner you can pull up a chair in Restaurant Gallo NerO, a charming restaurant serving international cuisine. The menu features Italian dishes as well as juicy steaks. The lobby bar is also the perfect spot for a drink and a snack, sink into a chair and relax with an exquisite glass of wine, a refreshing cocktail or a local Heidelberg beer. And in the summer months it's also lovely to sit in the hotel's beer garden.
