Herberg Sint Petrus lies directly next to the church, on the lively Vrijthof square. Hilvarenbeek is a town surrounded by greenery and a lovely destination for a relaxing weekend break. From the hotel, it is only a 15-minute drive to Tilburg, and a 30-minute drive to Den Bosch, Eindhoven and Breda.

Herberg Sint Petrus has a fine restaurant, which you can visit for lunch and dinner. You can enjoy a cappuccino or special beer on the heated outdoor terrace during the summer months, or curl up by the fireplace during the winter months. The hotel has attractive and well-furnished rooms, which come with a shower and toilet, a desk and a television. You can also make free use of wireless Internet.

Hilvarenbeek and its surroundings have much to offer. There are as many as four museums in Hilvarenbeek, each with their own, unique collection. The Likeur- & Frismuseum (Liqueur and Soft Drinks Museum) has a unique liqueur distillery and a small 19th century advocaat (eggnog) museum. The Orgelmuseum Dansant (Organ Museum) not only restores organs, but also builds new ones. Museum De Dorpsdokter (The Village Doctor Museum) displays medical instruments used by old rural doctors from the period 1800-1945. It also features a consultation room from granny's days. Museumbrouwerij De Roos is an authentic 19th century village brewery, which now also produces new beers such as Bikse Tripel and De Witte Roos.


The Land van de Hilver (Land of the Hilver), which lies southeast of Tilburg and is an ideal place to replenish your reserves. This scenic and rural area lies in De Kempen. You can go for lovely cycling or walking trips through the varied landscape, past country estates and characteristic Brabant villages. Popular attractions near Herberg Sint Petrus in Hilvarenbeek are De Efteling theme park and the Beekse Bergen safari park. Shopping enthusiasts can also visit Den Bosch, Eindhoven or Breda.

Each morning you can have breakfast from 07:30 - 10:00 h. The hotel also has a restaurant. You can have lunch here from 11:00 - 17:00 h.     Small but mighty

    New and clean rooms, good location and small (choice-wise) but good breakfast. An extra airbed for our son (5) was provided for free.
