“My tip: - Geef bij het ontbijt aan welke tassen er voor (choco)melk zijn, anders stroomt je koffietas over. Proefondervindelijk ondervonden - De gewone koffie is goed, maar voor espresso te zetten heb je andere bonen nodig.”

Quiet, comfortable bed and spacious rooms

The bed was large and comfrotable. The room was quiet and spacious. Coffee from the coffee machine was very tasty. It was very hot during our stay however the air conditioning worked well and kept the room cool.

There was nothing negative really. Perhaps the shower cubical glass could have been a little cleaner, otherwise all good.

“My tip: You can walk (or cycle) from the hotel along the canal water to Houten centre through a green park residential area. Houten has a small shopping mall plus restaurants and you can get to Utecht directly by train.”

This is a Top Hotel with all that you would expect from a Top Hotel, cleanliness all round and very comfortable beds and has excellent helpful staff and plenty of car park spaces, We always stay in Van Der Valk Hotels as there standards are very good, would highly recommend this Hotel, also must say that it has a great breakfast selection.

Fantastic Breakfast. Large Room, Large Flat Screen TV with plenty of suitable channels. Whirlpool Bath, Use of Fridge, Renewed Drinks Water Toiletries daily. Large comfortable Bed. Large Barriered Car Park. Pleasant,efficient Staff.

None really to worry about. The Breakfast was very busy and sometimes the Staff couldn t keep up with renewing Plates Bowls. When asked for a Larger Bowl the waitress was very short with her answer. No Pool or Gym if thats your thing

Weekend stay

I was attending a business function in Houten. The hotel is easy to spot from the motorway. There is plenty of parking. The rooms are large and fully equipped, the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is first rate.
