Leonardo Hotel IJmuiden Seaport Beach lies within a mere 150 metres of the beach. Here you can awake to the sounds of the sea, dine indulgently in Restaurant Beaufort, and relax in the hotel's sauna. So come and enjoy a fully catered stay on the coast.
The hotel offers comfortable room and suites. Most rooms come with a balcony with a stunning view of the Kennemerduinen dunes or the Marina Seaport IJmuiden. The rooms feature a luxury bathroom with a bath, a minibar, tea and coffee facilities and air conditioning. During your stay you can make free use of the gym, the Finnish sauna and a Turkish steam bath. A late check-out is possible on request. What's more, children are able to enjoy a free breakfast and dinner in this family-friendly hotel.
Surroundings
The adjacent national park of Zuid-Kennemerland offers 9,300 acres of dunes, beaches and country estates. Leonardo Hotel IJmuiden Seaport Beach is also perfectly situated for trips to Amsterdam, Haarlem and Beverwijk. A trip to the large indoor market 'De Bazaar' in Beverwijk is also recommended; its well known market stalls sell anything ranging from crystal to antiques, from books to exotic fruit.
Food and Drink
An American breakfast buffet is served daily at the hotel; on Monday to Friday from 06:30 until 10:30, and at weekends from 06:00 until 11:00. Chef's! Food and Drinks literally gives you a 'peek in the kitchen'. Surprising dishes are prepared for you in our open kitchen. For the unique experience, real chefs give the dishes a finishing touch at the table. The restaurant is open on Monday to Friday from 06:30 until 22:00, and at weekends from 08:00 until 22:00.

Children/extra beds: Children aged 2 and under can stay in the parents' room free of charge (travel cot included). Naast onze kamer werd wiet gerookt waardoor onze kamer heel erg stonk. Hierdoor kregen wij een andere familie kamer aangeboden. Deze was heel erg ruim en had een prachtig uitzicht op de duinen. Ontbijt is lekker.

Breakfast was good.
Good beds and quiet environment
No strange smells.
A bit dull surroundings, the hotel bar was closed before 01:00 hours.
And in the morning I had a cold shower most of the time and sometimes warm water. I mentioned it at the desk.
“My tip: I would or would not recommend the hotel. Depends on what people expect. There's no real evening entertainment. But a nice walk throug the dunes might have you spof a wild fox :-) I saw one.”

location in front of marina, various restaurants at walking distance, spacious room, clean bathroom, good affordable breakfast (10 euros). The special offers with breakfast included are more expensive!! (15 euros).
Wifi not free of charge (8 euros for one hour!!!); stiff matress.

Zeer welkom. Prima personeel. Heerlijk aan het strand. Geweldig dat honden mee mogen. Uitstekend ontbijt!
Als we bij de open haard borrelen dan moet de haard wel aangezet worden!!Aandacht bediening.
Hele nacht irritant geluid in de bad kamer, verstoorde slaap!
Diner: voorgerecht uitstekend. Daardoor hoofdgerecht zwaar tegenvallend. Vooral het prutje onder de vis.

friendly - good location for walking.
We only made the reservation because we were informed on the reservation page that thr hotel had a swimming pool. So the weekend was rather wasted as that was our sole purpose in booing this hotel.. I was very didappounted. The hotel had no real lounge area to work/read.

vriendelijk personeel, alles schoon en netjes
ontbijt erg goed vwb keuzeaanbod en versheid
- matrassen aan de zachte kant;
- ontbijt op zondagochtend verliep chaotisch. Het lijkt er op dat de taakverdeling bij personeel niet duidelijk is en dat men onvoldoende van te voren inspeelt op de te verwachten drukte.

Very good quality. Breakfast excellent.
Quite far from Amsterdam but you can park you car at the P+M (Parking+metro) near Amsterdam. 5¤/4 people including return metro tickets for downtown and 24 h parking...

Zeer rustig, vlakbij het strand, balkon.
Betaalbare, bewaakte parking.
De ventilatie (in de badkamer) maakt echt té veel lawaai.

None - Just a sterile hotel
Location Location location - The drive to the Hotel is through an Industrial Estate!! And the view @ the front of the Hotel - leaves a lot to be desired..
