Hotel
Tonnie's Bed and Breakfast is a pleasant B&B where the guest always comes first. The helpful hostess Tonnie is keen to ensure that her guests feel at home. She serves a complimentary cup of coffee and a slice of local Limburg flan upon arrival. The breakfast is served in the charming summer-house overlooking the garden with its pond. In the beautiful conservatory, the evenings are well-spent.
From the B&B, the centre of the bustling city of Kerkrade can be easily reached on foot. The multi-purpose complex Rodahal is within walking distance. In Tonnie's B&B, guests can choose between a room with private bathroom or a room with a shared bathroom. In the rooms you will find bathrobes, towels and a television. One room has a covered balcony overlooking the garden.
Surroundings
Around Tonnie's Bed and Breakfast in Kerkrade are a number of attractions such as Snow World and the almost 900 year-old abbey Rolduc with the impressive and beautiful Romanesque church and magnificent Rococo library. You can also have a ride on the steam train or visit the Discovery Center Continium. The recreation area Gravenrode offers many biking and hiking trails. International gardens 'Mondo Verde' and Gaia Park Zoo can be found here as well. From Tonnie's B&B you can also make trips to the German towns of Herzogenrath and Übach Palenberg.

Dejligt værelse med rigtig gode senge. Rent og pænt med mange hyggelige detaljer. Kaffe og te til fri benyttelse, sodavand og vand i køleskabet for et beskedent belød. Lækkert badeværelse ligeledes rent og pænt og med hyggelige detaljer. Jævnligt skift af håndklæder og mulighed for selv at forsynes sig, hvis det blev nødvendigt
Balconen var lidt snæver :-), men meget hyggelig.

The hospitality of the owner, Mrs. Tonnie, was definitely one of the best ever. She is very friendly and waited for my arrival offering me tee as well as cake as soon as I got there. Everything ended up being pretty good. Besides, she speaks great german. I really recommend this hotel and in case I am back to Kerkrade, I would definitely stay at it once more.
There is nothing to complain about. I would recommend more options as breakfast, but it was not for sure anything negative. On the contrary, it was Ok, however, it can be improved.
