Hotel de Zevende Hemel is approximately 3 kilometres from both Kerkrade and Heerlen. Kerkrade is situated on the German border. Aachen is a beautiful historic city, and is a 20-minute drive from the hotel. Aachen Cathedral is particularly well-known and forms a remarkable attraction, where the tombs of Charlemagne and Otto III can be found. Maastricht, one of the oldest cities in the Netherlands, is only 30 minutes away from De Zevende Hemel. In the centre you can visit the well-known Vrijthof square, by the Basilica of Saint Servatius.
Food and Drink
A varied breakfast is served from 07:00 to 10:00. Guests can visit the restaurant of Hotel De Zevende Hemel for lunch and dinner. The kitchen is open from 17:00 to 22:00 from Thursday through Monday. Guests can enjoy an ample choice of dishes from all over the world. After dinner you can enjoy a glass of wine or a beer by the fireplace, a relaxing alternative. The minute you step into the door you feel like you're at home. A friendly owner which is easy to talk with.
A very nice simple breakfast with warm bread and fresh coffee.
If you like the owner can even make you a lunch-bag (as have seen for other guests)

The landlord Fred, the food, the restaurant, easy access to the motorway-system and yet again the landlord Fred and his wife\'s cultural mixed cusine - I\'ll ad some Danish comments: Det her er stedet hvis værelsescomforten kommer i 2 række. Her er hyggeligt, rent, billigt og de kan lave mad. Værten Fred er hele opholdet værd
