Hotel La Butte aux Bois Lanaken is a beautiful 5* Superior country hotel, situated in the nature reserve of the Hoge Kempen. The hotel is located in a green oasis where guests are able to utterly unwind. La Butte aux Bois is a member of the Relais & Chateau association which has numerous luxury boutique hotels around the world. Hotel staff will do their utmost to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
The hotel has 52 rooms, decorated in a typical English country style. All rooms come with contemporary comforts such as air conditioning and a spacious bathroom. Several rooms also feature Hästens beds. The hotel rooms are spread across the manoir and the luxurious country house.
As of May 2017, the hotel has expanded with its Spa Shiseido Institute. The 1350m2 wellness centre offers an indoor swimming pool, a hammam, a sauna with a panoramic view, an infrared sauna, various relaxation areas and a gym "the Gym". You can indulge yourself even more by booking one of the many facial treatments, massages, wraps, manicures, pedicures, etc. available (at an additional charge). The use of wellness facilities is included in the room price. Spa Retreat La Forêt is open to guests aged 18 and above. Bathrobes and slippers are provided in the hotel rooms. Swimwear is not permitted in the wellness area.

La Butte aux Bois Lanaken is a beautiful hotel located on top of a hill in the middle of the Hoge Kempen nature reserve. A place where guests are able to utterly unwind surrounded by scenic beauty. The hotel's garden is simply stunning with its pond, idyllic spots and delightful paths. Fashionable shopping cities such as Maastricht and Hasselt are located near the hotel. What's more, guests are able to receive extra discounts at the shopping outlets in Maasmechelen and Roermond.
Food and Drink
Breakfast is served between 07:00 and 11:00. The incredibly stylish Ralf Berendsen restaurant offers a luxurious dining experience. Lunch is served here on Wednesday to Friday between 12:00 and 14:00. The chef does his utmost to spoil his guests with culinary delights. Dinner is served at the restaurant on Wednesday to Saturday between 18:30 and 21:30. The restaurant is closed on Sunday, Monday and Thirsday. The kitchen and the courtyard are open daily until 21:30. The attractive hotel bar is open from 12:00 until 01:00.
