Vriendelijk personeel. Ruimere kamer gekregen ivm baby. Nette verzorging qua eten ivm Corona regels.
Ik ben geen fan van vloerbedekking en deze was aanwezig in de kamer. Verder niets
“My tip: Er stond een tafel op onze kamer om het diner iets te vergemakkelijken. stuk lekkerder dan op bed met je bord.”

Spaceous hotelroom, comfortable bed. Good hygiene in the room and bathroom. Service was amazing, the breakfast delicious. And all for affordable price No complaints
Location of the hotel is a bit boring, surrounded by tall buildings. Little view from the window, other than a parking lot Upon arrival, the room temperature was 27C, a bit high. But nothing the airco couldnt fix.
“My tip: Oh, do check underneath the pillow and bed for monsters and mice P”

Comfortable room, friendly helpful staff, good breakfast.
Poor soundproofing in rooms in the block above reception - we wer disturbed by early morning noise from guests in the room above moving about on the hard (rather than carpeted) floor.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Very close to Leiden Central Station and the departure point for the bus to Keukenhof Garden. The restaurant is good and there are several other choices within walking distance. Good access to the rest of the Netherlands via train especially to Schiphol Airport. The trains to Haarlem go past many bulbfields. The wifi connection is reliable.

“My tip: There are at least 4 windmills within walking distance of the hotel. The closest is a couple of blocks from the back entrance. Leiden has a Saturday market in town on Saturdays.”

Good breakfast. Perfect location to train station.
The room was updated, however the lighting in the bathroom mirror was entirely too dark. Could barely see to apply makeup. A magnifying mirror should be added. Breakfast should use real eggs for scrambled.

Fantastic location - near station and town centre
Expensive breakfast - good, but no extra frills for the price
“My tip: Lovely selection of cafes in town. Easy access to trains and buses for trips to other places. Good supermarket (Jumbo) outside station-about 3 minutes walk. Hortus Botanicus worth a visit”

The hotel is very close to Leiden Central station and the buses to Keukenhof. It s also close to a scenic windmill and downtown Leiden and a short train ride from Schiphol airport. Trains to Amsterdam via Haarlem run through the bulbfields. The rooms are quiet and comfortable the restaurant is quite good. The staff is pleasant and helpful. The restaurant is good.

“My tip: During the season when Keukenhof is open, you can buy combitickets for the round trip bus and entrance to the garden at the AKO bookstore in the atation or the visitors Center across the plaza from the station. The Saturday market in Leiden is good. I ve also been in Leiden for a food festival and ran across dragon boat races on one of the canals which were a lot of fun.”

The hotel is very close to the train station which is also where the buses to Keukenhof leave. There are displays in the hotel with the train times and status. It's a short walk to the city center. There are also at least 4 windmills within fairly short walks of the hotel. The room was large and comfortable. The hotel now provides free WIFI which worked very well and there are several available outlets for using a laptop or charging camera batteries. The hotel has a good restaurant and th
“My tip: The Saturday market in the center of the city is good with various options for food like herring, kibbeling, stroopwafels ... Combined tickets for the bus (round trip) and entrance to the Garden are being sold at the AKO bookshop this year. It's a couple of hours by train, but you can get a full day in at the Floriade in Venlo from Leiden. There are frequent shuttle buses from the Venlo train station to the exhibition grounds.”

The hotel is very close to the train station where the bus to/from Keukenhof Garden runs. It's a short walk downtown for the shops and restaurants. There is a restaurant for the hotel; the menu sounds good, but I didn't eat there. The internet is now free; in previous years it has been a pay service. There are also displays in the hotel for the train schedules - a nice touch. the staff is helpful and efficient.
The television reception was poor, but this was not particularly a problem for me since that was something I only used to check the news/weather. There can be some street noise at night if you're on the front of the hotel, but it's not usually an issue.
“My tip: There is a nice windmill about a block from the hotel in the directin of the center of Leiden and at least three others within walking distance”

Very convenient stop over from Schiphol - via rail (20 mins) Ideal in chaotic snowy weather. Just across the road from Leiden station.
Perhaps a little stated here and there ( i.e. could do with a freshen up / re-fit). This is not a serious negative.

Nice to be within close walking distance of the train station. It was nice they let us check in at 11am after a long flight from the USA. The breakfast was quite good.
The bed was a little more firm than I prefer.
