Great location, great staff, super comfortable room, and really good restaurant
The bar only open at 17 00. If you want to have a coffe and or snacks you need to go to the restaurant. Not bad, but not the same relaxed ambiance

Well maintained facilities and very helpful staff. The Restaurant has good food and a lovely setting to watch the world go by, or at least some of it.
Travel to the Station really needs a planned request for a taxi
“My tip: Use the Bus (43) or consider a leisurely 30min walk to town.”

Good location, outside the town, but easy to reach Amsterdam, Kochenhog Gardens and the Hague.
Not enough milk containers were supplied in the room we had to ask on several occasions, but did get them alright.
“My tip: Excellent breakfast - lovely dining room overlooking the canal.”

We enjoyed our stay, comfortable room. Caught the bus opposite the hotel into Leiden Center, and then onto Amsterdam by train
Long corridor walks, poorly lit, with many steps, not suitable for aging persons.
“My tip: Ideal location for public transport connections ”

Nice bar, comfortable bed. Friendly staff.
Only one german tv channel. Light on the balcony is turned on overnight and shines into the room.
“My tip: Visit Leiden by boat.”

The room was good except that it was in the basement. I think if there are other room available, they should be allocated first.
“My tip: Bus 43 from Leiden Central takes you to the hotel.”

Nice location
Very impersonal. problems with housekeeping, rooms do not seem to be cleaned if not vacated by 10am as there is no permanent house keeping staff. Tea/coffee facilities in room are negligable. 2 tiny pots of milk and 3 sugar is barely enough for 1 person, let alone 2. Staff was not very helpfull when more was requested. Food in restaurant is average but well priced.

Good overall experience and excellent brunch buffet.
Comfort rooms may need remodeling. The alcony in my room needed sweeping. The location of this hotel puts it on the outskirts of Leiden, but it is ok if traveling with a car.

Nice location & easy access to public transport.Nice bar & restraunt
Could have some sort of a day pass for using the bus service to centre of Leiden, as it was 7.00 Euros round trip each time we had to visit the centre.Breakfast at hotel too expensive

good hotel in terms of quality for the price.
The hotel did not fulfill my specific request - on their website they advertised as a room for five (we are a couple with three children) but did not have it. Since they did not have this type of room the salesman over the phone guaranteed me two rooms connected with a door between them - but this did not happen in reality. The key card for one of the rooms did not work, so we ended up sleeping on the floor, all five of us in one room. No electric kettle in the room and not automatic hot drinks machine in the hotel - cannot have a coffee except for the restaurant

good location and price
poor service in restaurant

Excellent service at the front desk, excellent breakfast, excellent location for the area.
Our room with nice balcony was a very long walk away from the only door that was not locked - the one by the front desk. There were at least two entry doors closer to our room which would have made our entry walk to our room reasonable, but they were locked for security purposes.

A beautiful hotel, all new and renovated. We had an amazing 3 days there and the service was very attentive and helpful !
The breakfast is too expenssive... 12.50 Euro per adult and 6.5 Euro per child. My girls are 6 and 5 year old and they charged for each of them.
