Landgoed ISVW offers relaxation and comfort in the woods of Leusden. ISVW (Internationale School voor Wijsbegeerte/International School for Philosophy) encompasses an educational institute offering philosophy courses, a publishers and an estate with conference halls and hotel rooms. There is a spacious car park where guests can park free of charge and wireless internet is available throughout the halls and hotel rooms. Landgoed ISVW has a gold Green Key, an internationally recognised environment hallmark.
The reception, the charming lounge, the restaurant, the bar and the conference halls are all located in the main building. The hotel rooms are in the new hotel wing and in the hotel building. The hotel rooms are divided into standard rooms and comfort rooms. The standard rooms are equipped with a shower and toilet. The modernly furnished and spacious comfort rooms (for two people) have a bathroom with a shower or bath and a separate toilet. They are provided with extra long beds, a flat screen television and a delightful, south facing balcony.
Landgoed ISVW lies on 6 hectares of private property, most of which are woods. Landgoed ISVW is centrally located and very easy to access. It is only 2 minutes from the A28 (exit 6). The hotel offers a library where you quietly can read a book. The hotel has a fine atmosphere and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Surroundings
Landgoed ISVW's location is stunning. It lies right in the middle of the countryside and you go on lovely walks in this area. The estate borders on the Leusderheide. The hotel is very easy to access, it lies near the A28 and is just a 10 minute drive from the centre of Amersfoort. You can be in Utrecht within 20 minutes and the National Park de Utrechtse Heuvelrug within 15 minutes.
Food and Drink
Breakfast is served on weekdays from 07:30 until 10:00, and at weekends from 07:30 until 10:30.Landgoed ISVW has an à la carte restaurant. The dishes on the menu are exclusively prepared using environmentally sound produce. An alternating 3-course menu incorporating fresh, daily produce is served daily. The kitchen is open from 11:00 until 21:00. And you can enjoy a drink at the bar from 17:00 until 01:00.

The bannister to the rooms on the second floor was weird. That s the only thing I can think of

the room had a separate toilet all rooms in my block face the woods with a balcony. lots of light, good beds. all the rooms are named after philosophers.
there was some construction going on. didn t hear it but it looked messy with the perimeter fencing

Very healthy and varied breakfast is included. Quiet and green setting, yet close to the highway.
Heating was turned off completely. Took a while to get the room to a comfortable temperature.
