Hotel Spoorzicht & SPA is situated opposite Loppersum train station. This village in the province of Groningen is centrally located with regard to the city of Groningen, Delfzijl, and the Eemshaven. It is only a 15-minute drive to the city of Groningen and a 10-minute drive to Delfzijl and the Eemshaven. There is plenty to see and do in Loppersum's immediate surroundings. Loppersum itself is a medieval village which boasts the largest village church in the province: the Roman-Gothic St. Peter and St. Paul's Church. Also interesting to see is the characteristic 19th century flour mill De Stormvogel.

The hotel itself is a cosy combination of old and new. The hotel has 31 rooms. Seven of which are located in the old monumental building and the other rooms are situated in the new wing. The rooms in the main building have a different layout and come with a shower, a toilet and a television.
