A warm welcome awaits you at Bed and Breakfast Sogni d'oro, allowing you to quickly feel at home. The tidy rooms are pleasantly furnished and fitted with good beds offering a comfortable night's sleep. The B&B has rooms with shared facilities as well as rooms with an ensuite bathroom. The cosy Bed and Breakfast lies in Meetjesland, an area between the cities of Ghent and Bruges. This region is perfect for taking beautiful walks and cycling trips past windmills, castles, woods, creeks and polders. You can go horse riding or take a trip through the surroundings by covered wagon. The area of Meetjesland boasts nearly 800 km of cycling routes and the B&B lies within 400 m of the number 32 cycling junction in this network. Bikes are available for hire nearby. After a day out in Ghent or the beautiful area of Meetjesland, you can unwind at Sogni d'oro; in the garden, or in the breakfast room which functions as a living room for guests after breakfast.
Surroundings
Numerous beautiful buildings are situated in Lovendegem, including the fifteenth century Sint Martinus chuch, the town hall and Lovendegem Castle. In Ghent you can visit the Museum voor Schone Kunsten or Saint Bavo Cathedral, the Belfry and the medieval fortress of Het Gravensteen. You can enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner in one of the many lovely cafés and restaurants. Bed and Breakfast Sogni d'oro is centrally situated in relation to the cities of Antwerp, Bruges and Ghent, but you can also easily take a trip to the Belgian coast or the Belgian Ardennes.
Food and Drink
An elaborate breakfast is served between 07:00 and 09:00; at a time desired by the guest. Other times are also possible on request. The B&B does not have a restaurant but there are numerous restaurants in the direct vicinity where you can enjoy a nice bite to eat.
