Parkhotel Hugo de Vries is established in a Jugendstil building from 1904. Lunteren is a green and friendly village in De Veluwe nature area. Lovers of nature will find the Gelderse Vallei and national park De Hoge Veluwe within close proximity. The hotel is centrally located in the Netherlands and is therefore easy to reach from all parts of the country. Lunteren railway station is within walking distance of the hotel. Arnhem, Nijmegen and Apeldoorn can also be reached within a 30-minute drive.
The hotel is homely and small in scale. The staff are pleased to give guests personal attention. The spacious, threshold-free rooms are located on the ground floor. All rooms come with comfortable box-spring beds, a shower, toilet, television and telephone. Hotel guests can make free use of the infrared sauna. There are also beautiful gardens, where you can sit pleasantly during periods of nice weather.
Surroundings
Those who love to walk or bike can make beautiful tours of the natural area Gelderse Vallei or national park De Hoge Veluwe near Parkhotel Hugo de Vries. Here you can visit a famous modern art museum, the Kröller Müller museum, which has a special sculpture garden as well. In the region you can pay a visit to the former royal palace Het Loo and the monkey zoo De Apenheul in Apeldoorn, or to the Openlucht museum and Burger's Zoo in Arnhem. A visit to Nijmegen, the oldest city in The Netherlands, is also recommended. This lively city has many shops, squares, and night-life venues.

Rustig gelegen hotel met alle basis voorzieningen. Zelfs gratis internet.
Geen restaurant meer voor avond eten.

It was extremely excellent, ALL staff were extremely helpful, courteous, and a pleasure to talk to, bar staff during breakfast etc.
The comfort of the hotel was extremely good nice rooms, nice lounge, good bar service.
It was a pleasure to stay the week , I would love to live in Lunteren and cannot recommend the Hugo de Vries highly enough.

A pleasant experience. Comfortable,clean,modern, absolutely quiet room, yet simple but convenient.
Dutch breakfastbuffet -OK. Next time in the aerea, we will stay here again. Positive.

Goed verblijf gehad, kamer was schoon, ontbijt was prima verzorgd, vriendelijk personeel.
Verwarming maakte veel herrie (ontluchten?), voortdurende popmuziek in het restaurant is niet ieders smaak...
Douchegordijn zou geen overbodige luxe zijn.

The receptionist was very kind.
The room was near the bar. I was told that the room was well noise isolated: This was NOT the case at all. It was impossible to sleep till two o\'clock in the night and the first noise was already heard at 06.15h in the morning. Do not go there if you want to sleep at night!

On this trip the location was great and we will consider using again.
In the UK we are have tea and coffee making facility in the rooms, this would be nice.
Breakfast very specific to Dutch taste, it would be good for the hotel to consider guest profile and change accordingly.
Please provide double beds not twins.
Shower/bathroom layout seemed strange as all towels get wet when showering.
TVs a bit small.
