The rooms at Hotel Gasterij in het Gouden Hoefijzer are decorated in refreshing colours and come with incredibly comfortable boxspring beds, a television and complimentary toiletries. Guests are able to park their car at the hotel free of charge, and cyclists can make use of the lockable bike shed. Bikes are also available for hire at the hotel.
The Maasplassen area, in which the hotel lies, offers many opportunities for water sports. Plus walkers and cyclists are able to make use of the many ferries in the area in order to explore the surroundings.
Surroundings
The little village of Maasbracht lies in the middle of Limburg, just 10 kilometres from the border with Germany and Belgium. The 'white city' of Thorn is only 5 kilometres from Gasterij in het Gouden Hoefijzer and the historic village of Wessem lies on the other side of the river Maas. And by bike or car you can also easily reach the cities of Roermond and Maaseik.
Food and Drink
Breakfast is served daily in the hotel lounge and includes fresh rolls, fruit juices and fruit. Breakfast is available Monday through Friday from 07:00 until 10:00, and on Saturday and Sunday from 09:00 until 10:00.The hotel does not have a restaurant but you'll find plenty of restaurants in the centre of Maasbracht.The hotel has a bar and guests can enjoy a drink on the outdoor terrace on sunny days.
