    Very over priced

    Location to town centre

Very over pr,iced for the standard of finish in the rooms. Very inexpensive decor. If anyone has stayed at a Forumla 1 hotel motel in France you will know exactly what I m talking about. Seriously need to look at the decor in rooms. Breakfast was a free for all, bacon cold. Will never stay at this hotel again

“My tip: Look around for other hotels when there is a concert on in Maastricht. The hotel charges what they like, or should I say it s called dynamic charging .......what this means like it or go elsewhere”

We find the room very nice and bright. We liked the restaurant with its very unusual placing of tables.

The coffee was very disappointing. The coffee machine looks impressive but the coffee served was not good at all. The hot milk was also not hot, just lukewarm!

“My tip: The Harrys restaurant nearby serves excellent European food with impeccable service.”

Best lobby ever! Very cozy & very comfortable

We stayed here for 2 nights, a perfect weekend away. We were impressed by the design concept and above all the friendliness of the staff. They were very helpful and accurate with every detail, and served us always with a smile on their face. The hotel is extremely clean with high quality furnishings. Me and my wife look forward to come back!

Friendly, funky, but could use better room lighting.

Convenient to station, easy walk to center of the city. Provided free car transport to TEFAF. Extremely friendly staff and spotless room. Good public space in which single travelers can sit comfortably to read, work, or just be around others. I liked the offbeat wall art, especially the giant ants crawling on the hallway walls. Lovely breakfast to go for an early morning train departure.

Large windows bring in daylight, but the room lighting itself is dim and odd, making it hard to work in the room if you are a business traveler. Design furniture is fun but not always the most comfortable. They say they'll bring in a desk if needed but I feared that it would eat the minimal remaining room space; better to just work downstairs in the lounge if possible.

Close to train station. Very nicely refurbished, reconstruction has worked out very well.

Room lacks a shower curtain of some sort. Looks better this way I am sure but it is not very practical not having one.

    A home in other country.

Townhouse Design Hotel really reflects its name 'Design'. It doesn't have to be luxurious, but it feels at home, in our own living and dining room. No formality and it's very cozy to relax. Very convenient as it's close to the main station. Clean and it's really unique. My daughter and I have such a wonderful time staying there.

I booked for 2 nights with clear and agreed rate. When I checked in, I informed them that I wanted to stay 1 more night. They said I have to check the availability on Tuesday morning (2 August 2011) though the chance was very good. On the agreed date, they informed me that there's no room available. I informed that I definitely will get a room, though I might have to move to other room or other property (which also belongs to them). The other staff (a lady) confirmed that my stay has been extended without even changing the room. So I was still stay at room no. 210! Unfortunately, the ending of my stay was very unpleasant as the extra 1 night they charged me more than the whole 2 nights!!! I complained as no one was informed me about the rate when they extended the room. At least if I was informed, then I could consider whether I wanted to stay or not. I purposely asking them at 9 o'clock, so if there's no room or the rate was increased, it gave me enough time to checked out and looked for another hotel. I was really disappointed as they - easily - answered that their price is always different day-to-day. If that so, it should be mentioned in their pricing policy, but don't take it for granted. I really felt being cheated, though I enjoyed so much the hotel. When they couldn't even find their 'daily changing rate' in the confirmation sheet that I have, then they reduced the rate by €50, which is still more than the 2 nights I paid through your website. I am really tore in between... I like the hotel but I was really disappointed with this incident. In fact I couldn't accept this, but I have been staying there for that 1 extra night. I really hope that you can help me to settle this. I still keep all the document and I really hope that you put extra care of the hotels that advertise their property in your website. it's kind of a white crime and it reflects the unprofessionalism of the hotel staff. In fact at the same time, I also made a booking with Zenden Hotel, unfortunately they couldn't take my booking as I travelled with my 4 years old daughter. Thank you in advance for your kind assistance.

Lovely modern and upscale hotel in Maastricht.

The staff in this modern and upscale hotel was friendly and helpful. We had a warm welcome with soup and a handshake. All of the staff spoke excellent English. The lounge was comfortable and attractive. Breakfast was scrumptious. We appreciated the offer to leave our luggage for the day after checkout. The hotel is one block from the trainstation in a quiet and leafy area. We loved this hotel and recommend it highly.

The floor in the shower is slippery when wet. That is the only minus point we can think of.

good place, good location, good staff.

very friendly and efficient staff. Print outs that we emailed reception desk were promptly delivered to our room.

place where leave the luggage on ground floor was not secured (door was kept propped open). didn't like stencils of cockroaches on hallway walls. (all other artistic touches were good.)

    a friendly design hotel

The service is great, when you come in you get some soup and people are very friendly. Also the breakfast give a homely feeling, instead of stayin in a hotel it feels like staying with friends

I was a bit disppointed in the large room, ad the bathroom did have a bath but was not very big, and the room was not as well designed as the medium room I had last time. So I was expecting a bit too much because the medium room was better according to me

    A good place to stay

    - The staffs are very friendly and helpful. - The bed is large and comfortable.

    - It is quite noisy as my room is just next to the road and the train station. - The breakfast is quite expensive.

Warm handshake and soup on arrival. Quiet Room, good large bed. Very near to train station

sparce accomodation - probably going for 'less is more'. limited furniture, no wardrobe, no coffee, no bar, no room phone (for room service), no literature (about hotel and town). Large room but no real space to work. 10 minute walk to town centre.
