Hotel Van der Valk Maastricht combines regional Limburg hospitality with personal service, allowing you to quickly feel at home in this contemporary hotel. Bikes are available for hire at the hotel, enabling you to explore specially marked cycling routes through South Limburg and the Maas Valley.

The à la carte restaurant serves dinner from 17:00 onwards. The kitchen specialises in international dishes with a French-Dutch twist, and the menu also features typical regional and seasonal dishes.

Everything wa great until.... Check out Surprise
Hello, I booked a reservation for 2 nights this past Friday night. My husband and I had to leave one night early as I informed the clerk during check in that this would be a possibility, she simply said ok no problem. I noticed my card was charged for 2 nights although we stayed 1 night. I am requesting a reverse charge to my American Express card for the 2nd night.

Room is more than I expected. Super bed and very quit surrounding. The only drawback is the hotel is not easy to find, due to constructing activities on the A 2.

I asked for a double bed and we had two separate mattresses so we slept badly for two nights. No information in French very useful especially in the restaurant and yet no staff speaking French in room supply of tea coffee but not chocolate yet there has bagged breakfast so it is possible to put

Clean rooms and efficient if daceless staff.
In a four star hotel I expect a mini bar with refrigerator - not a "mini bar box of snacks and drinks" that you must buy in reception.

Ontbijt is ruim gesorteerd en loopt door tot een fijne tijd voor uitslapers.
De shuttlebus start vanaf 15 uur. Ook terug is niet geregeld. Dat is een taxi of lopen. De lijnbus kan ik geen wijs uit.
“My tip: Mooi gebouw met vriendelijk personeel. Ontworpen voor zakelijk gebruik maar Maastricht zelf heeft het gemoedelijke Bourgondische karakter en dat compenseert het strakke mooie van het hotel.”

Very comfortable. Big, spacious rooms. Very helpful reception staff. Good restaurant. Free Shuttle service available - return can be purchased. Local bus service 3 -4 minutes away. Outside of city so away from bustle, but also close to airport so very convenient.We were attending an Andre Rieu concert and shuttles to and from the hotel were organised on those nights for a very reasonable sum.
If you like to be in the centre of things this is not the hotel for you.

Very nice four star hotel. Room very large and beds comfortable.

Had a meal in the bar which was good and reasonable price
Too far out of town to walk. Taxi around 9 euros to town or a bus does stop on the road near hotel and costs around 3 euro to town.

Clean and comfortable room with all amenities of standaard quality, couldn,t have ask for more. Electric kettle was à plus.
Diner was average and affordable
On arrival, there was à large crowd of people in the reception with so much noice, but it gradually faded away with none on site. Other than this we had à pleasant stay.
“My tip: Free parking is à bonus and the rooms have every comfort you can ask of. Located in à quiet area with less hazel coming in and out.. If you don,t like waking up early for breakfast, then with the ketel in the room, you can have your hot tea any time you want to.”

Extremely polite and helpful staff on the reception desk on our arrival and throughout our stay. Assisted us with directions to walk into Maastricht and provided us with a city map with written directions. Our room was very clean and everything we required for our short stay was in the room. After our return on the second day our room was cleaned to a standard that you would think that no-one had been resident.
I cannot think of any minus points at all, all was fine.
