Center Parcs Hotel Hochsauerland is situated in a splendid location in one of Germany's most beautiful winter sport destinations. A wonderful place where you can combine the comfort of a hotel with the benefits of a holiday park. Make the most of the park's facilities, hop on the bike, put on your walking shows or get on the slopes.
Ready for endless fun in the water? Experience the subtropical swimming pool Aqua Mundo, which you can enjoy free unlimited access to while staying at the hotel. Boredom just doesn't exist here! Whiz down the slide, relax in the hot tubs, brave the waves in the wave pool, or have fun in the Water Playhouse.
In the park's back garden, high up on the hill, is AVENTURA. This is Europe's longest playground, providing hours of entertainment for the little ones. 160 metres of adventure on bridges, ladders, slides and ropes up to towers and other look-outs.
Besides spending hours in the subtropical swimming paradise and clambering and climbing in AVENTURA, there is plenty more to do in this park! You can also play badminton, beach volley ball, basketball, bowling, football, miniature golf, climbing, mountain biking, squash, tennis and archery. And you'll regularly find free entertainment in the Market Dome. Enjoy live music, the show night or take part in the family quiz.
Surroundings
In the winter, Hochsauerland is an absolute paradise for winter sports, with beautiful areas for skiing. A few minutes' drive from the park is where you'll find the popular Winterberg with 34 different slopes of 27 kilometres. Only 8 minutes from the park is the ski area of Schlossberg, a family ski destination with flat and steep slopes on the edge of Medebach-Küstelberg. And then there's Willingen, which is perfect for beginners as well as experienced skiers, and where there's almost always snow thanks to snow-making facilities. Are you visiting the park outside of the winter period? Then it's the ideal place to unwind and enjoy the splendid nature. Put on your walking shoes or hop on your bike and enjoy long walks and bike rides through the beautiful hilly landscape.
Food and Drink
While staying in the hotel you can enjoy an extensive breakfast buffet in the morning. The park offers a wide choice of restaurants for brunch, lunch and dinner. Take a seat in the cosy Market Café, enjoy Italian specialities at Il Giardinio, go for an All You Can Eat & Drink Buffet at The Market Restaurant, eat yummy pancakes in the Pancake House, enjoy a variety of meat and fish specialities in the grill restaurant Harding’s Family, or opt for a juicy burger with crunchy fries at Billy’s Burger.
