In the heart of Middelburg, the capital of the province Zeeland, lies Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Middelburg. Climb the 207 steps in the tower of the abbey Lange Jan, or pay a visit to Miniatuur Walcheren, where the entire island can be seen on a small scale. The nearby city Vlissingen also has a lot to offer, such as the sea aquarium Het Arsenaal and maritime museum MuZEEum.
Food and Drink
The extensive breakfast buffet is set up on weekdays between 07:00 and 10:00 h and on weekends from 08:00 to 10:30 h.The café/brasserie breathes a classical yet informal atmosphere and has a relaxing terrace on the waterfront. This is an excellent environment to enjoy a savoury lunch or dinner, or just a nice drink. Lunch is from noon to 17:00 h. and dinner from 18:00 to 21:00 h.
