Van der Valk Hotel Nijmegen-Molenhoek is a hospitable and spacious hotel, which lies just south of Nijmegen. The German border is close to the hotel; Nijmegen Aiport is only a 30-minute drive away. Arnhem and Nijmegen are easy to reach from the hotel. Both cities are renowned for their charming city centre, great shopping opportunities and vibrant culture. Molenhoek has its own railway station (between Nijmegen and Venlo), which is only a 10-minute walk from the hotel.
The hotel rooms come with a bathroom with a toilet, a bath and/or shower. The rooms also feature comfortable beds, a telephone, a radio and a television with a video channel, and free WiFi.
Surroundings
It is only a 10-minute walk from the hotel to Mookerheide. Here you can walk and cycle through the vast woods and hills of Plasmolen and Mook. There are also many recommended walking routes in this area. The 247-acre Mookerplas with its 'De Grote Siep' recreational area is a perfect setting for enjoying sunbathing, swimming, surfing, sailing and fishing.
Food and Drink
A breakfast buffet is served on Monday to Friday between 06:00 and 10:30, and at weekends between 07:00 and 11:00. In the Brasserie and the restaurant you can enjoy a cup of coffee, an elaborate lunch or a delicious dinner. The restaurant offers a special Timo Toekan children's menu as well as colouring pictures. The spacious outdoor terrace is open during nice weather. And the bar offers a wide range of drinks and snacks, including various beers, cocktails, whiskys, cognacs and liqueurs.

Big rooms with balcony and very good breakfast. Possibility to make coffee or tea.It's really close to the city of Nijmegen and the rural environment of Groesbeek were you can bike and hike.
The room is next to the road and our room was near the elevator. In the morning it's very busy in the elevator with persons going to enjoy their breakfast.

Een fijn hotel met een prima kamer en een heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt. Daarbij ligt het hotel maar 15 minuten rijden van Nijmegen. Zeker de moeite waard als je zelf met de auto bent. Overigens ligt er ook een bushalte in de buurt.
Voor sommige mensen misschien minder dat de kamers aan de overkant van de straat liggen, maar voor ons was dit geen probleem(daar kun je ook parkeren).

Voor nette prijs een goede plek om te overnachten ivm bruiloft in de buurt. Hotelkamers zijn wel verouderd. Ook is er geen airco waardoor het erg warm wordt op de kamers. Het ontbijt is oke, niet super vers zoals bij de grotere vd valk maar wel prima en genoef keus. Wifi werkte goed.

A nice, clean hotel with excellent service. Very comfortable and situated in a good location, Nijmegen is only 10 minutes by car. Would definitely recommend it if you want to visit Nijmegen and at the same time want to enjoy a quiet sleep at the Dutch countryside.

Exelent food and very comfortable beds. The bedrooms are on the opposite side of the road to the reception and restaurant which means there is no noise from the restaurant. I would definitely stay there again if I am in the area.

Good location and very easy to find. Clean hotel with an excellent shower (an important factor to me which many hotels don't seem to have). The staff were very friendly and all spoke English very well. The food was amazing and there was plenty of it!
The inner door to the corridor could do with a device to close it slowly as it currently closes with a bang. But this was only a very minor disturbance. Overall, we loved the hotel.

My son was impressed by the playground room - near reception.
Really old building, our room was across the street - really odd. The sheets old and ruptured, stayed only for one night,but would never stay there ever.

the only hotel in that part of the town, not far from Mook-Molenhoek train station, there is no noise, calm place, where you can enjoy fresh air and stay far from the fuss. It's clean, and cosy.
the room cost is high for, I would say, the budget hotel

Good Hotel, rather calm ,especially rooms at the opposite site! Room and staff OK.
1) Not very clearly marked! Don't You look for "Van der Valk", you cant find it! This is marked as HOTEL MOLENHOEK. ;)
2) Attention, no bathroom doors (maybe additional attraction ?).
