Hotel Ameland is an excellent choice to enjoy this scenic West Frisian Island; centrally located and only a 10-minute walk from the village of Nes and the sandy North Sea beach. The hotel practically borders the Nesserbos, beautiful woods to explore on foot or by bike.
Kids will enjoy the hotel's very own playground, set in a generous garden, and you can sit back and relax on the sunny outdoor terrace. Surroundings
You can walk straight from Hotel Ameland to the beach and the village of Nes. This protected rural area is home to several old commanders' cottages and you'll also find many charming little shops and restaurants here. Various cycling paths will lead you through Ameland's splendid nature areas. If you love golf or horseriding, the island has plenty of opportunities. What's more, the recreational areas of De Vleijen and De Aanleg are fun to visit with children.

Breakfast is served between 08:00 and 10:00. The lounge and bar are on the ground floor. Here you can reminisce about your day over a few drinks between 18:00 and 23:00. You'll also find several nice restaurants in Nes, within walking distance of the hotel.
