Surroundings

Hotel Hoogeerd Niftrik lies in a recreation area; the perfect starting point for exploring Land van Maas en Waal. Walking, cycling, sailing and roller blading, it's all possible here and fantastic routes are available at reception. There are several nearby attractions to visit. One of which is Wijchen Castle. Its protohistorical garden, situated in the castle gardens, is well worth seeing. Bustling Nijmegen, the Netherlands' oldest city, is also great for a day trip.

Food and Drink

Hotel guests can enjoy a breakfast buffet on weekdays from 06:30 until 10:00, and at weekends from 08:00 until 10:30. Lunch is served between 12:00 and 17:00. The traditional lunch menu features tasty, home-made dishes including soups and salads. A delicious dinner is served between 17:00 and 21:00. The elaborate dinner menu offers seasonal and regional dishes, freshly prepared home-made soups, a 3-course daily menu and a monthly menu. Vegetarian options are also available. A cosy café area is open throughout the day for a game of darts or billiards and a nice drink. Coffee and cake are served from 10:00. The traditional Dutch "brown café" is open from 08:00 until 01:00, and offers a charming view of the river Maas with its passing ships.
