The hotel's location near the German border means it's also possible to take a day trip to Cleves or Kranenburg.
Food and Drink
The breakfast buffet is available on weekdays from 07:00 until 10:00, and at weekends from 07:30 until 10:30. Situated at the front of the hotel is the warmly styled Villa Restaurant, the perfect spot for an à la carte lunch or dinner. The atmospheric restaurant serves French-oriented cuisine with Mediterranean touches, various seasonal specialities and an original wine list offering a selection of fine wines. The kitchen is open between 12:00 and 20:30. You're very welcome to enjoy a drink and a snack in the bar, which has a pool table. The bar is open throughout the day and evening. The adjoining outdoor terrace is a pleasant place to sit all year round.

Beautiful location. Breakfast was good and varied. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.
Despite the 4 starts, the hotel is poor in hygiene. Bathrooms yellow stains, pooh stains in toilet, swimming pool water was cloudy, some plasters were floating in the water. Furniture very run down, stains on tables, wooden furniture is worn, ceilings yellow, still from the time people were allowed to smoke? We didn't sleep very well, there was a noise above the shower every few minutes during the night. The porter agreed that night. Carpets also worn. Overall disappointing for a 4 star hotel.
