Hotel
Hotel Hertogplein Nijmegen is situated in a fully renovated building dating from the early 1900s. The hotel is situated on the Hertogplein; a square which lies in the bustling centre of Nijmegen amidst an abundance of restaurants, shops and museums.
Guests have a choice of various room types. The rooms come with air conditioning, a mini-bar, separate toilet, shower, television, Nespresso coffee machine, a kettle and free wireless internet. Weather permitting, guests are also able to enjoy the private roof terrace, where you can enjoy a nice breakfast.
Furthermore, for each guest the hotel offers a parking space in a private car park, just 100 metres from the hotel. Reservations are not required, but are preferable. A parking space is available at a fee.
Surroundings
Hotel Hertogplein offers a view of the same-named square in Nijmegen. You'll find various restaurants, bars and shops in this bustling part of the city. Within walking distance of the hotel are several museums, such as Museum Het Valkhof, Nijmegen Natural History Museum and Velorama, the national cycling museum. And there's also plenty on offer in terms of culture; enjoy a show at Vrijdagtheater or see a film at the Lux or Calypso cinema.

Young couples november 2014
A very original, small but extremely cosy hotel with quality rooms. Wonderful breakfast and a joined minibar system at the breakfast room. Very friendly owners too. Stayed in room 3. If coming back to Nijmegen, will choose this hotel again. Highly recommended
None really, except for a quirky room bathroom system, where you have to walk from the toilet on the left side of bed to wash your hands to the bathroom on the right side of the room and bed, because the only sink to wash hands is on the bathroom side.
“My tip: The restaurants are located very near the hotel, but they seem to be extremely full on weekend nights even in November. So booking a table at, for example, Qke-leq might be wise.”

Three star accomodation. Well worth the money. Very nice room. Very comfortable bed. The airconditioning saved our life. :)
Also loved the cute little balcony, the nice breakfast ( fruit, organic bread, dairy etc.) and the coffee abd tea facilities in the room. Would definitely stay again.
