The atmospheric Hotel Zonne is quietly situated in Noordwijk aan Zee. The hotel offers plenty of opportunities for relaxation, including miniature golf, kitesurfing and beautiful cycling routes through the dunes. The hotel also has tennis courts. The front of the hotel offers you a splendid view of luxurious villas surrounded by dunes. Delicious dishes grace the menu in the restaurant; and you can unwind with a drink at the bar after a lovely day out.
The hotel rooms at Hotel Zonne are all furnished in different ways in terms of colours and design. For instance, the hotel has red, purple or yellow tulip rooms, a room with tiger print touches as well as a room that is tranquil and light. The rooms at the rear of the hotel offer a view of the dunes and several rooms have a fine seaview. Most rooms come with a balcony.
Surroundings
Noordwijk is a popular seaside resort with many nice shops, excellent restaurants and a beautiful boulevard where you can enjoy a lovely stroll. The beach is ideal for long walks, or you can take a refreshing dip in the sea. The hotel is also conveniently located for nice day trips. For instance, you can visit the Keukenhof in Lisse. The cities of Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam are only a 30-minute drive away; great for shopping or visiting one of the many museums.

Breakfast is served every morning from 07:30 until 10:00. The hotel also has a fantastic restaurant where you can choose between French, Italian or fish specialities. The restaurant is open daily from 18:00 until 20:00. And you can enjoy a drink at the hotel bar, which is open until 01:00.

very small room - bathroom size XS - no cupboard to hang the clothes ( your site mentioned deluxe room ...no justified) We have to pay 5 euros ...for administration costs ( no foreseen - no explanation)

Very clean; room cleaned every morning while I was at breakfast; peaceful hotel; cosy bed (albeit a single bed, not what I expect in a hotel); good breakfast; obliging bar staff (gave me tea late into the night when I requested it); I would stay again but only if they would offer me a proper hotel room with double bed.
Reception unhelpful regarding local transport, they had no train or bus times, even for the airport?! - would be helpful for guests. Also, I booked a single room but the room was smaller than the single room in my house! It was like a walk-in closet. I heard from some of the staff that the hotel was only about one quarter full the week I stayed so I can't understand why the hotel did not put their best foot forward & offer me a decent sized room with double bed, as most hotels do?!
“My tip: If travelling alone & booking a single room, perhaps enquire if you can have a proper hotel room with double bed. And, if you'll be needing train or bus times, either do your own research beforehand or visit the very helpful local tourist office.”

* There is a small lounge and bar with a modern feel
* Situated just a short walk to the beach
* On a quiet road with barely any traffic, making it very peaceful
* Much better price than the larger hotels in the area.
* Has a breakfast room/restaurant with windows all around it, making it very bright and sunny
* The stairs to the rooms are narrow and winding, so it is awkward getting luggage to and from your room. There is no lift and no staff to help.
* Single rooms are quite small
* No air conditoning
* No iron is available for guests

Great breakfast buffet. Friendly and helpful staff. Just a short walk from the beach.
The walls are very thin and the doors loud - even with earplugs I found it difficult to sleep.
