The renowned 4-star hotel Hogerhuys lies behind the boulevard, on top of a dune. The beach is within walking distance. The quiet location and magnificent views over the sea, coast and the beach resort Noordwijk aan Zee are some pluses of this hotel, as well as the friendly staff and good service.
The hotel's interior is modern and warm, which is immediately noticeable upon entering the building. It is pleasant to spend time in the attractive bar/lounge with a fireplace and in the à la carte restaurant, where a delicious dinner is served Tuesday to Saturday. Furthermore, the spacious outdoor terrace is open during nice weather. The hotel rooms come with an ensuite bathroom with a bath or shower, a toilet, a hair dryer, comfortable single box-spring beds and wireless Internet. The Double Rooms also feature a television, a telephone with a wake-up service, a mini-bar, a safe and a balcony.
Surroundings
Noordwijk aan Zee, the flower beach resort, has a lot to offer. Within walking distance of the Hogerhuys is the beach, where you can walk endlessly, or relax and enjoy some sunbathing. Other popular activities are riding in the dunes, cruising at sea, shopping at the chic shopping centres or going for a night out. For those interested in modern space travel the nearby SPACE Expo centre is the place to visit.

Room size, cheap room furniture, Balcony has only 2 cheap plastic chairs no chaise no decoration, storage shelfs in bathroom are to small, only suitable for short stay. Price on the high side

The Hotel is run like a family business and therefore the Staff are very welcoming. hotel is very clean and tidy. Food is very good.
As I travelled during winter it was very nice to sit in the lounge bar by the fire.
I don't normally add reviews but this hotel is very worthy of one. Will definetly stay again.
Steep steps up to the rooms. Not sure if they have a lift.

Having a parkinggarage; a terrace; a balcony; modern very efficient room. Excellent breakfast
It would be good to mention that - for older people - it is quite a climb back to the hotel after parking in the garage

My room was small and perfectly formed for one person. Little balcony much appreciated. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent - so many choices and so delicious. The beach was a 5 minute walk away & buses to conference centre were 2 minutes away. V pleased.

clearly a place to go again
internet connection is not perfect: only via KPN hotspot or via some free wireless signals captured from the neighborhood.

Nette kamer, vriendelijk personeel, simpel en gewoon
Kamer is klein, maar is ook weer erg knus. Was wel benauwd op de kamer (geen airco aanwezig).

Breakfast - Excellent could not be faulted
Location - Close to busy areas but actually located in a quiet street.
Service - Reception and all services were very good, providing all that is needed but in an unobtrusive way
Noise levels - There was substantial sound travel between rooms. Could hear conversations in next room as well as bathroom
Parking - No on site parking. Problem solved by hotel making arrangements for paid secure parking within 2 minute walk
