Total rest and good restaurants in de near vicinity
Tom Tom does not know the right way and you have to decide very fast how to go. When you miss the right entrance street you have to cross half of Leyden

it is 15 minutes walking distance to center. free parking,
price and quality is not competitive. it is strange that check out time at 10 oclock, although it is written at 11 on the website.

The room was clean though very simple. In general, the staff did the best they could.
The website only focusses on the Kasteel but the hotel is located in a newer building- no Kasteel feeling at all. The breakfast coffee was undrinkable and the fruit salad tasted of nothing at all. We tried to have a shirt washed but were told this would only be possible if we were staying a couple of weeks.

het park was heerlijk, ook het wakker worden met vogelgezang en spechtgeklopper. De kamer was schoon en netjes
We voelden ons een beetje genept, werden gelokt met het kasteel en overnachtten in een foeilelijke aanbouw van het koetshuis. De douche was een slap straaltje en er was de hele nacht een soort machinegeluid te horen.
