Surroundings
Logement De Witte Klok lies in the village of Oudebildtzijl in north Friesland. Land reclamation, dyke construction and the special way in which farms are built are still very evident in this area. The surroundings are perfect for walking, cycling, canoeing and you can also take a guided walk across the mud flats. You can also visit the salty marshes of Noord-Friesland Buitendijks either by yourself or with a guide. If you walk, cycle or drive along the dykes you'll encounter various cafés, restaurants and galleries. And for utter relaxation simply pay a visit to Sauna het Bildt, where you'll receive 20% off the admission price.
Food and Drink
You can order a hamper stocked with an elaborate Frisian breakfast, which will be delivered to your apartment in the morning. The apartment comes with a kitchen where you can prepare your own lunch and evening meal. The tearoom serves a delicious Afternoon Tea or Wadd'n Tea, where you can sample authentic Frisian delicacies. De Witte Klok has its own restaurant, and there are also several other restaurants in the direct vicinity.

Supervriendelijke service en een prachtige, gezellige, ruime kamer. Ik ben nog nooit in zo n leuk hotel geweest voor zo n goed prijsje. Het dorpje is klein maar bijzonder vriendelijk en de kroeg is ook heel gezellig.

Nicely equipped for self catering and cosy layout. Good location for Leeuwarden. Would consider using again.
The clock chimes throughout the night at 30 minute intervals. OK if you are not a light sleeper. Ensure all the windows are closed to limit the sound.

The room was large clean and comfortable with facilities for cooking and eating and an outside seating area. It was in a quiet area but with a nice cafe bar and a shop nearby. We were a group of 3 couples cycle touring and found it very convenient for the LF1 cycle route.
This character building has a clock tower which rings throughout the night and did disturb the sleep of some of our group

Very good autumn promotion including the breakfast.
Possibility of cooking in the room.
Good beds.
Access to the room through a steep outside staircase, which makes this room unsuitable for people in wheelchair.

Freundliche Aufnahme,Zimmer o.k., allerdings sollte man bei 4 Personen die Couch mit Vorsicht geniessen... Wir haben die Matratze besser auf den Boden gelegt und dort geschlafen.allerdings bei Bei Hotels.nl (auch telefonisch) keine klare Aussage, wie man nach 17:00 an den Schlüssel kommt. Hat trotzdem gut geklappt - der Wirt in der gegenüberliegenden Kneipe kennt sich gut aus und weiss wo man sich hinwenden muss.
