The homely family Hotel Boschlust Oudemirdum is typical for the friendly rural atmosphere of the frisian 'Gaasterland'. This rural area is known for its abundance of recreational possibilities and its wealth of protected nature. With the 'IJsselmeer' and the Frisian lakes nearby, this region is a true paradise for lovers of water sports. Hotel Boschlust Oudemirdum is as welcoming as the entire region. The friendly service, the atmospheric interiors, and the lively outdoor café will allow you to taste the Frisian village life. However, you can also let yourself be pleasantly surprised by the high quality meals from the stylish à la carte restaurant. A nice cup of coffee or lunch at the grand café is possible as well.

All rooms have been decorated in a modern fashion, and are equipped with a shower, toilet, television, and telephone. In addition, the hotel has a number of garden suites. These suites have a luxury bathroom with a bath, as well as a private garden or balcony, on the quiet rear side of the hotel. The hotel further offers the opportunity to use the tennis court or set up a (business) meeting.

Surroundings

Hotel Boschlust lies in Oudemirdum, a Frisian village in the south of the 'Gaasterland' area. This area is known for its lakes and wealth of protected nature. This has always been an important area for recreation. It has numerous woods and meadows and there are endless possibilities for water sports. You can also pay a visit to the sandy beaches on the 'IJsselmeer', at recreation terrain 'De Hege Gerzen'. The centuries-old Frisian culture can be admired in small historic cities such as Stavoren, Sloten, Hindeloopen, Sneek, and Bolsward.

Food and Drink

In the morning a breakfast buffet is served from 08:00 to 10:00 h. In the stylishly decorated restaurant you can enjoy a variety of items from the à la carte menu. The hotel also has a lively grand café, where you can enjoy a nice cup of coffee or a good wine and you can order lunch or dinner here. Also, guests can have a seat at the covered and heated outdoor café. In the winter the fireplace adds even more atmosphere.

Children & extra beds

Children/extra beds: One child under 4 years old can stay in the parents' room free of charge, providing you bring your own cot. Children aged 4 - 10 years old receive a 50% discount on the price per person and children aged 10 - 17 years old receive a 25% discount on the price per person. An extra bed can be added at a surcharge of €32.50 per night in a standard room and €40 per night in a garden suite. This is only possible on request.
