B&B Erve Fakkert is located on the edge of the charming, country village of Rossum. The accommodation is established in a farm that once produced flour. The farm enjoys an inspiring setting in the countryside of Twente. The perfect location to delight in rural tranquillity. Nature lovers will also appreciate the fact that this farm borders the beautiful area of Roderveld. The surroundings are perfect for lovely walks and bike rides. Plus creative guests will also have fun here, as the farm has a studio and organises a range of creative workshops.
The former miller's shed now houses 7 unique and modernly styled hotel rooms, each with a different theme: Music, Photography, Poetry, Drawing, Sculpture, Pottery and Drama. All rooms come with wonderful box-spring beds, a television, tea and coffee facilities and a spacious bathroom with a shower. The B&B furthermore offers a holiday home suitable for 5 persons, and there are three 2-person apartments. The outdoor terrace is a lovely spot to unwind; a place where you can literally count sheep.
Surroundings
Erve Fakkert is 4 kilometres from the charming centre of Oldenzaal, with its lovely, atmospheric restaurants and cafés. Six kilometres from the farm is the beautiful Singraven estate, and where you'll find Huis Singraven, an authentic coach house and a centuries-old watermill. The artistic village of Ootmarsum is easy to reach by bike, just 7 kilometres away. Or you can take a trip to Hengelo or Enschede, two bustling cities that are just a 25-minute drive away. Take a walking tour through each city and discover their histories. Enschede, for instance, has a rich textile past, which is still evident in many of the cityscape's features. It's also easy to visit Germany while staying at the farm. The former textile city of Nordhorn is a 25-minute drive away and a paradise for shopping. The city has a lively centre and great shops ranging from small-scale boutiques to popular high street stores.

A delicious breakfast buffet awaits you every morning in the communal area, Het Palet. Start your day feeling rejuvenated with the most important meal of the day. Breakfast is served daily from 08:00 until 10:00. Other times are also possible in consultation.
