Novotel Rotterdam Brainpark is located directly off the highway A16 in an exclusive business district. A 10 minute drive brings you to the centre of the city of Rotterdam, whether you have a business meeting there or just want to go out. Therefore is this hotel a perfect fit for the business traveller as well as families with children.

The help and assistance given at the reception desk and the warmth and hospitality shown by the bar staff not only in giving a potted history of the city but providing a sensible list of dos and donts.
Little to within walking distance.

King size bed, i.e. one mattress was a big plus. In other Novotels like Maastricht we found the old-fashioned lits-jumeaux.

The refrigerator in the room was a nice surprise!
When I asked if we could check out at 1PM, there was an instant "yes, of course...no problem" which relieved me of the need to hurry in the morning.
Kamer 303 is wheelchair accessible, and probably isn't assigned with much frequency. Because it is not used so often, it is not cleaned as often, and perhaps it is this reason that the shower has 'schimmel' growing.

Comfortable rooms, very practical use of space. Very conveniently located if you need to be at the Erasmus University or one of the companies at the Brainpark, tram connection to city center is a 15 minute walk.
Location not so good if you need to be in city center a lot.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel clean and smart, plus in a good location. Very good breakfast selection. Easy reach of public transport (metro /tram)to travel into city (cheap, quick & easy), no need to use car.
For sure we will stay here again, well worth it.

Got a great price on the internet for 2 rooms at the weekend 53 euros 2 nights(city break 2pp 119 euros) and guys at hotels n.l were great when the hotel realised they had put the wrong price on the internet. The hotel kept the deal which was great after hotels n.l spoke to them, I would book again with Hotel N.L very helpful. The room was big and very nice and clean with fantastic views across the city. All the staff were very helpful and friendly and reception got all the cabs we needed quickly, the car park is free which helps. The hotel bar and resturant looks like it has been updated recently which was nice.
Breakfast was a very good buffet but if I was paying 18.5 euros I would have to think twice get include in the room deal.
Would stay here again if coming to Rotterdam on the 2pp internet deal.
too far from the city center and taxis cost 25 euros for the trip both ways.
Small beer in the bar was 4 euros which was too expensive. Breakfast is too expensive if not with the room rate.

Location both vis-a-vis the dutch highways network and the city of Rotterdam.

Massively overpriced breakfast (17.50 pppn), had to pay for T-Mobile wireless internet, no room service after 10:30pm but the bar opens at 6 in the morning (!).
