The Savoy Hotel Rotterdam is an ideal destination for a city trip, given its central location in Rotterdam. You can take a seat at the bar in the Savoy LOCAL or in the hotel lounge for a cup of coffee, a tasty lunch and a variety of snacks.

Alles klopt bij dit hotel. De ontvangst, de gratis borrel met bitterballen, het ontbijt (zeer uitgebreid en met veel lokale producten), de kamer, badkamer en het bed. En last but not least, het personeel. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam Daarnaast een perfecte ligging, op enkele minuten van (o.a.) de Coolsingel en de markthal. Hier gaan we nog regelmatig terugkeren.

“My tip: Op 2 minuten lopen van het hotel, op de volgende hoek van de straat, hebben we uitstekend gegeten bij O 39 Pazzo Een regelrechte aanrader. Wel even reserveren..”

Very unpleasant odour in the bathroom ; no bath only shower ; stincky towels ; 2 single beds side by side is not very nice for a young couple.

The bathroom was smelly, aircon did not work, loudy from corridor, messy and untidy during breakfast.

Reception staff very polite and friendly.
Minor issues - Room furniture was very dusty on arrival and was not cleaned throughout our 4 day stay even though staff had been in and changed bedding and towels. Other guests room service crockery left in the hallway all day.

Bij ontvangst prima informatie gekregen m.b.t. onze vragen. Echt een prettige binnenkomer.
Bij het betreden van de kamer hing er een rioollucht. We hebben de deur van de badkamer dicht gehouden en omdat we enkel op de kamer sliepen hebben we er geen last van gehad. Na douchen de volgende ochtend bleek de lucht verdwenen.

Really nice helpful staff
The room was filthy - the carpet was black with dirt, and there were stains on the bedsheets. Disgusting.
The parking is a public car park over the street where you have to pay 20 Euro!

Staff was very polite and very responsive. The room was a great value, and location was pretty nice as well, close to shops and restaurants. About a 10 minute walk to Rotterdam Centraal.
Overcharged my account, but soon to be put back hopefully.

The receptionists are very friendly. The breakfast service was very good. In general, our stay was ok, except for the rooms.
We were disappointed by the rooms. The rooms are not good anymore for a 4 stars hotel. There is a strange smell of old in the rooms that is not very nice. The bathrooms should be renewed. The TV wasn't working very well. The carpet was dirty and should be removed.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful, especially the bartenders Cornelius and Musa.
The carpet in the room was very soiled and the towels were faryed. I do not thing the hotel should be given a 4 star rating. 2-1/2 stars maybe.

Great value for the single room price of 65â¬. Had a really nice room on the rooftop with a great terrace. May be not the best option for familys but perfect for business travellers.

professional process, reception desk very friendly people, even though very business like.
- room clean and enough space for two
- good condition for a city hotel
- heating/air conditioning worked proberly
- not a warm athmosphere
- the lights in the hotel room were very low
--> could not even put my lences into the eye without daylight
- bed was for our behalf a bit too soft (harder would be better for the back)

Room and breakfast both excellent and the staff absolutely first rate.
Lifts are the open door type - which always strike me as a little disconcerting. When we visited the roadworks meant the taxi from Rotterdam Centraal had to go a long way round to get there.

OUR STAY AT THE HOTEL WAS VERY NICE ITS RIGHT IN THE CENTRE OF ROTTERDAM CLOSE TO THE HARBOUR I HAVE STAYED AT THE HOTEL A FEW TIMES NOW AND WILL KEEP GOING BACK, I HOPE TO BE BACK IN MAY 2010.
